Our journey kicked off at the magnificent Mohangarh Fort, hailed as the youngest palace in India. Beyond its architectural splendor and historical charm, our stay was elevated by the amazing accommodations, delightful culinary offerings, and impeccable service. Mohangarh Fort not only captivated us with its regal aura but also set the bar high for an all-around extraordinary experience.

A genuine heritage property. Very well maintained. The staff is very cordial and is very prompt in responding to any queries/requests. We stayed for 4 nights and experienced nothing less than a royal treatment.

The best part was the open-air dinner with live local folk music and sumptuous home-like meals.

Special thanks to Mohan from the staff for taking very good care of us.

The only downside is the fact that it is 30 mins away from Jaisalmer. But the BRO and NHAI roads just make this time and distance a very pleasant and enjoyable drive.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the breathtaking Mohangarh Fort in Jaisalmer, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. This ancient fortress transported us back in time, and we couldn't have asked for a more authentic and memorable experience.

Our stay was made even more special by the exceptional services provided by the staff. First and foremost, we must mention the outstanding fort tour guided by Mr. Rajesh Nahar. His deep knowledge of the history and the incredible stories he shared about the fort were truly fascinating. Rajesh's passion for the fort's heritage was evident in his engaging and informative narration, making the tour an unforgettable experience.

As for the culinary delights, the restaurant at Mohangarh Fort, under the expert guidance of Mr. Virender Singh, was a gastronomic journey that we will cherish forever. The local cuisine served here was nothing short of exquisite. From the delectable Rajasthani thalis to the aromatic biryanis, each dish was a burst of flavors and a culinary delight. We highly recommend trying the traditional Rajasthani dishes for a true taste of the region.

The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, capturing the essence of Rajasthan's regal history. The views from the fort were mesmerizing.

What truly sets Mohangarh Fort apart is the warm and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our stay remarkable. They were always ready to assist with a smile and made us feel like royalty.

In summary, our stay at Mohangarh Fort was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the exceptional fort tour by Rajesh Nahar and the culinary masterpieces by Virender Singh. If you want to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Rajasthan while enjoying top-notch hospitality, look no further. We can't wait to return to this historical gem in the heart of the desert. Thank you, Mohangarh Fort, for an unforgettable journey back in time, comfortably stays, and delicious meals.

We had a beautiful stay here with family. The evening folk song program was very good. The food was very very spicy for us. We requested for non spicy breakfast the next day, which was given to us. Breakfast was delicious. Every corner of the fort was picturesque and beautiful. The courtyard was again a nice place to hang out. The swimming pool could have been a heated one considering it is a 5 star property. The rooms were very well maintained and clean.

One of the youngest forts in India is now an elite heritage hotel giving you the perfect vibes of the ancient Kingdom and splendid architecture within is all you would like to experience when here.

Photos posted are from non-peak/season time during which all maintenance happens.

Ideal time to visit and stay would be between the months of October to February

We were here for 2 nights. Excellent property great service. People at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Overall staff was good. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the fort roof top.

Please note this property is about 60 kms from Jaisalmer so plan your activities accordingly. You will not find any decent restaurants nearby but again food at the restaurant on property is not bad at all (but may be reasonably pricey). They had a live show both nights during dinner time (8-10 pm).

We enjoyed their spa and outdoor open shower attached to out room as well. Spa was clean and very relaxing. Because of the cold weather we could not use their swimming pool.

Something they can improve on (if i had to nit pick):
- water pressure was very low and hot water was limited (they have in room geysers)
- there were no towels on the floor in spa steam/shower room and because of the oily feet, wet floor it could get very slippery and potentially a big liability for the management
- consider increasing dinner time till 10:30 or maybe 11 pm. Similarly consider starting breakfast at 7 instead of 8 am.
- Even though breakfast was included in our booking, person who was doing our checkout tried to charge us for 1 day of breakfast (Rs. 1100) but I would like to believe it was a genuine mistake.
