The Buddha Bar Cafe

Came here twice in the same day for lunch and dinner because the food was really good. I had the fish Malayalam for lunch and the fish in banana leaf for dinner. Both super tasty and flavorful. Also had a very good iced coffee and juice.

A nice located Restaurant near the Helipad in Varkala Beach. A cool and catchy name and a great entertainer who invited us in. We ordered several dishes (specially fish) and everything was brought to our table in an appropriate time and served with a smile. The view from the top was very enjoying. The food was delicious, the price totally fine (specially for us from Germany because of the currency exchange) and the ambience beautiful. At the weekends you have Live music. A must try dessert: Hello to the Queen!!
We will come back the next time and invite everyone to try.

After a long walk on the beach Had good tasty breakfast today. Loved the masala chai here. Very scenic place. Very close to the beach. One can have coffee in the evening here and view the sunset . I highly recommend this place to have good food early in the morning. it's located close to the parking.

A nice cafe with a beautiful Ambience, tasty food and live music. They are the best people to celebrate your birthday at varkala. They literally made my day. Thanks to the singer there for his lovely music and the rest of the staff.

This is a newly opened place and I've visited it two days in a row with my wife and mother in law. The coffee on both days were spot on, I also tried their carrot ginger juice which was sooo good that I ordered one more!
The service is prompt and crisp. The music is also refreshing. The roof top area is definitely the place to chill.

Food is good. The overall vibe and location is excellent. Most appreciable is the staff that ensure comfortable experience.

The manager also runs a taxi service and provides the best bargain everytime.

What a great atmosphere at the Buddha bar café! This is the place to be, from Friday evening to Sunday evening, if you want to dance or listen to all genres of music, from techno to reggae! This place was beyond my expectations for both food and hospitality . As I arrived yesterday I was greeted with a warm smile and good food . I took my time, charged my phone and even got a lovely recommendation to stay at one of their Rooms with En suite. Even though i dont know anybody here I love coming here to a band of staff who care. Enjoy the Fruit juices and the tikka-chicken or Fish combo when you get here . Their continental breakfast is refreshing. Ask for Subash, Rajesh, Farhad shah (the friendly guy at the front of the cafe welcoming people) . So easy to spot them, The Buddha Bar Cafe is located just at the entrance to the beach cliff so you can't miss it.. Highly Highly Recommended!

Before coffee temple - leather seats in the base - not my case - lounge ambience - who likes? - food is good and for big eaters like me enough - spanish breakfast and fresh fruit bowl with curd and honey - excellent - stuff is amazing

Very very courteous staffs and nominally priced food options. Personally loved the customer service and I’d 100% recommend it for all things fancy, fun and frolic!

The ambience is little bit okay. Food is also okay not much good. The staff can't understand Hindi and speak/understand english little bit. So there is misunderstanding between thier staff and us. They charged us 500 per person as a entry free and told us this is just entry free and you have to pay the extra addon amount for food and drinks. Then we decided to leave that place as its not worth it as per the price. Then one guy told us that you can utilise this amount as a cover charge. Then at the time of final bill they asked us to pay whole bill. After talking to thier manager, they apologies vert politely for the misunderstanding and just asked us to remaining amount other than cover charge. So those people seems to be co-operative.
One of the scam which was happened with us is Their one of staff member said us that the dance floor will be open till 1_2 AM. But they closed it at 10.00 PM only.

Amazing food. Amazing music.. love the place and the ambience. A must visit. The s staff are very friendly.
