Relimai Retreat Kalimpong

We had a great time at the Relimai Retreat in Kalimpong! The retreat is super nice and clean, very modern with western-standard hotel-rooms, but at the same time, offering a very home-like feeling!

The view from the room is amazing and we woke up in the morning seeing the mountains and listening to the wonderful bird sounds. A great place to relax and enjoy the nature around and the beautiful village houses with friendly neighbours.

The owner is a very nice and friendly person and we enjoyed chatting with him, learned a lot about local & Indian cultures in general (as this was our first Indian trip).
The organic meals were brilliant, freshly made from vegetables grown in the garden and were tailor made depending on our preferences, in our case, vegan for me and meats for my wife.

The villa itself was tastefully decorated, and every corner exuded comfort and tranquility. We enjoyed spending lazy afternoons on the balcony, sipping tea and marveling at the surrounding natural beauty. The rooms were immaculately clean and cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep after exploring the wonders of the hill station during the day.
Our stay was not just a feast for the eyes with the breathtaking views but also a feast for the soul with the incredible local cuisine that left us with lasting memories of a truly indulgent getaway.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at the Relimai Retreat. The beautiful scenery around transported me to a relaxed state of mind. The short trails into the woods were very invigorating and enjoyable. The rooms were well planned and comfortable providing breathtaking views of the mountains and the woods. The food too was homely and delicious. Overall it was a real Retreat for me.... to break away from the crowd and connect with the nature. I would surely like to revisit the place in future.

Our stay at Relimai was nothing short of amazing . It had all the things we loved - scenic with breath taking mountain and river views , soul soothing sunset , brilliant weather , comfortable rooms , finger licking good food, pretty and inviting walking trails and extremely hospitable hosts! Our stay at the Relimai Retreat was a refreshing change from the metro cities. I've grown up in the hills and the valley, this is by far the best get away from the hubbub. Relimai Retreat is worth visiting for days, weeks and even months (depends on one's needs and availability). The hosts are warm, fun, adventurous and great cooks. You will great suggestions about local food and activities activities. Activities are also provided by the hosts, Sujata aunty and Nischal uncle.
The view is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, warm, clean and contemporary, the food is delicious, the conversations are invigoratin (get to know the hosts) and the surrounding is relaxing. You can choose how you want to spend your time at the Relimai Retreat. Ask the hosts for suggestions depending on what you're seeking.
Namya will happily show you around the property, the home grown vegetables, fruits, coffee plants, local vegetation and great view of the rolling hills and the river. Make sure you pack the appropriate footwear to walk about the trails. You'll have a great time for sure! 😃👍

We had a lovely and memorable stay at the Relimai Retreat. The view of the mountain was great 👌. The rooms were comfortable and warm even in the month of January. The lovely view, the tasty food and the warm hospitality of the Relimai Retreat made our stay truly a "Home Away from Home".

My 70+ mother went and stayed at Relimai Retreat Kalimpong in December and is raving about the place. She says it is a great homestay! All the modern conveniences, good food, beautiful views, great host and hostess, good day walks nearby…. What more can you ask for except to return ASAP!

An amazing experience, what with amazing hosts, caring and making sure we were comfortable, with a bukhari to keep us warm . Warm clean blankets as were the rest of the linen, very different from the regular hotels that I generally stay in during my work travels . A really great place for creative people-writers,singers, poets AND adventurers. Food was amazing- do ask Sujata to make the fingerlicking aloo dum and Nischal to make the intoxicating mocktails and cocktails. Organic homegrown veggies and veggies from the nearby village is a guarantee. A place to call a home is what RELIMAI RETREAT is. A place away from the city.... This is a must visit space located at the top of one of the beautiful hills in Kalimpong that overlooks the gorgeous Teesta, hills of Sikkim and a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga range.

We had such a wonderful stay at d resort. We thank Mr Nischal for d warm hospitality. We absolutely loved the entire experience - pleasant atmosphere, surrounding lush green hills, bird sounds all day round, the trek around ur organic vegetable & fruit garden and the home cooked food and breakfast. We had one of the most cherished memories for our anniversary, not to forget about the beautiful cake arranged by Mr Nischal. Hoping to return the favour whn u visit Guwahati. See u soon.

A beautiful, lux and comfy place, run by warm hosts. Lovely for Walks nestled in the higher part of Kalimpong called Deolo.. With stunning views... Shall be going back there as often as I can. 😊💌
