It is very old and famous bakery in Darjeeling. The bakery things are really good in taste.

It's perfect for enjoying live music and relaxing. The cafe is cozy with a quiet atmosphere and an open sky deck. Can't wait to come back here again and again. The bakery items are delicious.

This place is truly amazing! They offered the best coffee, bakery, lunch, dinner and showed the best attitude to its costumers. Internet connection is very fast and is unlimited as well. This place is indeed perfect for live music and chilling out. It was very quiet and open sky deck also. I just want to keep coming back to this place.

A must-visit place in Darjeeling that has been famous for years. We were able to find a seat without a queue, and most alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available. The outdoor ambience is also very pleasant. Although the prices are a little bit high, it's very peaceful and not crowded.

One of the oldest English bakery, pub and restaurant in Darjeeling as well as in India, established in 1⃣8⃣8⃣5⃣. Had an awesome dinner with 'Chicken Cheese Macaroni'🍝, 'Roasted Chicken in Sizzler🍗' along with some Indian dishes like 'Butter Naan🫓', 'Paneer Butter Masala🍲' etc.
The atmosphere was very good😇, had some live music with it🎻. There is also a 'basement' section and 'open' balcony area. The evening temperature was like 5-6 degree Celsius. (26th Feb)
But I have found the fire chimney aka heater🌡 as the most interesting thing in this place. They have added the 'HOPE' board for the Christmas of 2⃣0⃣2⃣0⃣.
A much recommended place in Darjeeling. Giving a solid 10 on 10 for the food and services.😎

***Concern: There is no separate space for Alcoholic drinks🍻. So, if someone found him/herself unwell in front of alcohols, then this place is absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED.

A must visit heritage place in Darjeeling. Indoor n outdoor both ambience is wonderful. Food is lil costly but tasty. A very good place to chill out. But, it's a matter of luck to get a seat during busy hours.

The service people need to be more active and should assist the customers to their seats and give them the menu card to order food and not the customers to walk up to them and ask for the menu card.

The food is excellent and that too with a beautiful picturesque landscape. It's always mesmerizing and cozy to be in Glenary.

It was my first ever time in Glenary's and the first time experience has become a lifetime one as my husband and I went there on the evening of my birthday and enjoyed a lot. We bought very few items but didn't eat them all at a time rather packed the extra foodstuffs and had them in our hotel room. Not only the quality of their food items but also the atmosphere, services made me feel much special. Their hot chocolate needs special mention.

I have enjoyed dinner in Glenary’s at Darjeeling Mall road . Specifically the baked items from the bakeries are very fresh and tastes good . We have tried pork sausage roll , apple pie , cookies etc . Also, enjoyed sizzler from main course . Ambience with live music is their USP and top notch . Good for birthday or anniversary celebration . Enjoyed the evening with my family .

One of the best experience. Though the staffs are bit on the rude side, but it's understandable because they are overburdened.

We ordered some bekary items there and the experience was very good. Also the view, its just something mind blowing.

A heritage cafe and dining area: at the heart of Darjeeling on mall road. Beautiful interior decor. The bakery is on the ground floor with a decent selection of breads. There is a pub in the basement with the dining place is on the 1st floor with indoor and outdoor tables.

Bakery

1. The food was so good, we had the breakfast platter and the sausages were out of this world. We even ordered the plate of sausages because it was so tasty. The wait was also not that long.
2. Darjeeling tea was fantastic.
3. The bakery is of course amazing. We loved Paris brest, key lime pie(so so good!!)
4. Hot chocolate was moderate - it was too watery.
5. The view from the sitting area is so nice!

Personally I enjoyed the food from the bakery immensely compared to the restaurant.

Restaurant
1. Pork chops were pretty good, beef steak not so much.
2. The only dish we super enjoyed was the chilli pork, other items were decent.
3. Chicken sizzler was horrible, couldn't finish. Chicken steak was also ok.
4. Cocktails, mocktails were decent.
5. Ambience is super nice, it's the only reason one should go. For food, there are better options really.

Apparently one of the oldest bakery in India. Glenary's. Still surviving and thriving. Such a cool vibe. ( May be a little overcrowded due to tourism season) .. everything was delicious and such finely made. What I like most is the vibe and atmosphere of the place. So many cute couples taking pictures. Just enjoying the tea and view. There are so many places to explore in Darjeeling yet I just wish to spend all my time here only. Must visit. Will visit again

The Glenary restaurant-coffe shop- bar, is an institution in Darjeeling.
Their building dates from the days of the British Raj, as does the ambience. It’s full of cram- but the head chef needs a trip to Europe to get a fix on their continental menu.

Best place for Baked food in Darjeeling.
Hot Puffs here is a treat for your mouth.
Place is crowded in the evening as it is very popular.
Could enjoy the snacks in a calm ambience if you could reach one or 2hrs early for the evening coffee.

The place also have a dining area which offers dinner and cocktails, which is very crowded and one could dine in if you have the patience to wait.

This is one of the most iconic places in Darjeeling and in existence since the British India. This place is a must visit not just for freshly baked goodies and lip smacking breakfast but also to witness the mesmerizing views of the Darjeeling while sipping your hot coffee and chilling in the positive ambience of this place. Best place to start off your day.

This place provides great food served in the first floor. However, I would recommend hitting this place just for the bakery items which you would get in the ground floor. There is usually waiting when you go there during lunch / donne hours. The view from the first floor and the ambience is just great!

When you visit here you can feel some iconic environment. All of the decorations, food, service is very good and they also provide a great environment.

Went here multiple times over the week spent in Darjeeling. Beautiful view from the rooftop. The bakery has super tasty stuff. Tried the pastries, fruit cakes, cream roll and puffs. Live music in the evening gave it an awesome vibe. Definitely a must visit when in Darjeeling.

There’s no dearth of people in Darjeeling’s busy Mall Road. It’s pretty early in the day but one can still see that the people in Darjeelibg are out and about. Must be tourists! As soon as I started to look at them with disdain, the nose caught a whiff of freshly baked goodies. The irony of one loitering tourist (yours truly), judging other tourists for being out on the streets so early in the day was not lost on me. The sweet aroma of baked goods reminded me why I was out that day – to get my hands on some of the pastries from the very famous Glenary’s in Darjeeling.
Many things changed in the country, Darjeeling, and even the ownership of the shop, but one thing that remained unchanged was the class and top quality of food items that Glenary’s was famous for. One can imagine English babus singing praises of Glenary’s goods over high-tea.
At present, the Glenary’s is a beautiful combo of bakery and cafe, a bar called The Buzz Bar, and a restaurant.
