Observatory Hill View Point

Wonderful view point in Darjeeling. If sky is clear, you can see Kanchenjunga range in front of you. You can enjoy the beauty of Himalaya with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Seating arrangements are very good. This place is five minutes away from Darjeeling mall. You can come from Rajbhawan side also. If you want to enjoy the nature, then you must walk through this observatory Hill Road.

Ideal te to visit is during morning when the sun shines and the golden glow reflection is visible on the white snowy Kanchanjangha Mountain.
A romantic place with mesmerizing views along with sip on hot cup of Darjeeling Tea, is a perfect way to start the day.
We visited on 08.01.2024 morning and witnessed this lovely view.

The timeless beauty of Kanchenjunga, the oak and pine trees, the sloping hills - it is a travellers dream. Of course, there is some crowd & it is quite natural. In spite of that the a visit is very rewarding.

A place to enjoy the beauty of Kanchenjungha. I do not mind even though I did not get the Kanchenjungha view - the rain drenched and foggy streets, the beautiful nature filled me with eaternal joy. Walked, rested for quite some time - Loved the experience.

One of the best view points in Darjeeling. Visit Mahakal temple and while returning come here, take breath, admire the mighty Kanchenjunga over tea.

Probably the best and most peaceful place to sit back and relax and have a look at the magnificent Kanchenjunga range of mountains.
It is just a 5 min walk away from the main Mall road square.
The view is enchanting and uninterrupted.
Most of us living in cities have rarely have the luck to look at an uninterrupted view of our surrounding and to look the the horizon which only ends at the view of the mountains.
You can get some really good coffee here at Rs.25 per cup.
Public use gymnasium structures are built here on the pavement like pull up bars, parallel bars, a tire for flipping and loops for push ups, etc.
This is an ideal place to relax in the early morning while a morning walk or a quick workout.

Tiger hill is a not good very crowded place. This place is peaceful and seeing properly Kanchan view ❤❤❤

Best view point after tiger hill of Darjeeling but nowadays tiger hill becomes a very crowded place so incompatibly this is i recommended Everyone.
