Panbu Dara View Point

Awesome view point. Sevoke coronation bridge in one side, Mighty Kanchanjunga in other side. Snack options are there. Parking also available. Road is a bit difficult cars having less hill road experience.

One of the Hidden gems of Kalimpong district.. one of the closest and coolest views from Siliguri.. only a few kilometres from Sivok road.. via kalijhora dam.. provides of the most breathtaking views of Mt. kanchanjungha and teesta river flowing into the plains togather as well as chel, ghesh rivers etc.. there is one Tibetan resturant as well as many shops that provides food.. there is one homestay at the viewpoint as well which provides decent food and lodging with a breathtaking view of Mt. kanchanjungha..

Panbu Dara is the ideal viewpoint if you want to gaze upon the Kanchanjunga over a steaming plate of spicy momos surrounded by clusters of marigolds, especially during the winters. It is in the Kalimpong district and can be reached via the Kalijhora dam route. Much beautification of the place has been done in the past year and many shacks selling snacks and beverages have cropped up to cater to the bulk of passersby. There's also a Shiva temple nearby and the route is connective to many other places like Pabung and Lava.

Pro tip for ethical tourists: Avoid littering the place at all costs. Plastic bottles collected in the catchment are properly recycled by the locals.

An amazing offbeat place. On a clear day, you'll be able to see the Coronation Bridge and awesome scenic beauty from the view point. The view point construction is ongoing and it is definitely going to be an upcoming tourist destination. The sunrise and set from this place is mesmerizing

We visited this place in mid August and due to the clouds, the view wasn't that clear... But quite often, we could see the clouds moving away thus presenting this mesmerizing view in front of our eyes... Overall, it is quite a nice place to have a day trip to... There are several beautiful spots around, do go down the stairs to discover some beautiful view points... I personally loved the fence very much... There are also few food stalls/stores nearby... We had Momo that costs 40 rupees for veg and 60 rupees for chicken... There is a Shiv Mandir too at the location...

It's a beautyful viewpont located in the outskirts of kalimpong. You can enjoy the view of railgate, coronation bridge and river teesta from there and you can eat momos there especially on the mini thelas they taste good.

Nice view of slipping Buddha and teesta river valley and Siliguri city from top of mountain...

Very nice place to stay a couple of days. Those who love nature and like to see sunrise and snow picks from one place, must visit. You really love the place.

What a beauty 🤩 although we visited in monsoon and got foggy weather, but the place has its own peace. The place is also well maintained some shops are there where you can get cha, coffee,momo, Maggie. Just a few steps from the view point you can visit lord Shiva's temple. Just 44 km from sevok. If you are nearby dooars then it should be in your bucket list.

A beautiful view point to observe the majestic Kanchenjunga. Also the areal view of Tiger bridge and Sewak rail bridge is perfect from here.

I have spent some time with cloud...a thrilling experience.

A very serene place to visit. Not very far from the sevoke teesta dam. Around 30 to 45 mins drive comes this beautiful view point. Very beautiful 360 view of the mountains. Seating arrangement is there. Can spend time with friends and family. Generally remains fairly crowded on weekends. There is a shiv mandir here. Few shops are there for having tea, maggi or snacks. Names are very exciting like selfi thela, baini ka thela etc. Will recommend to visit.

Out of all chaos of city .... Here in Panbu one can feel the original taste of nature and scenario.The route is awesome and full of thrill.

One of the hidden gems of north bengal . You will get the best view of river teesta and the entire sevoke region . You will get both the coronation bridge as well as the sevoke railway bridge in a single frame.

Beautiful viewpoint. This view point has some majestic attraction because of Mahadev temple. Though we were unable to view Kanchanjangha because of fog but still this foggy weather also has some unique beauty ❤

This is the best place I've ever seen in Darjeeling.... I just loved it.. there is nature everywhere... If you're stressed or feeling low in your life I think you should visit this place once in your life... This is a calm and peaceful place....

Such a beautiful place.The beauty of this place is really mind-blowing.I can't explain in words.The weather changes suddenly and you see fog everywhere.The road is little tough for bike riding beginners. There is a Lord Shiva Temple situated here. There are many view points here.
