Masaledaar Desi Rasoi

After wedding ceremonies we had diner at Masaledaar Desi Rasoi. Being from Europe finding good places to have diner isn't always easy. We are so glad that we've found this place and would truly recommend it to anyone, especially when you are unfamiliar with the Indian food. There was great help with the ordering proces and they made sure we ordered things we would love. Which we did!

This place is truly a recommendation! If you are lucky the manager is around and doubles the hospitality!

Authentic North Indian taste. One of the best ambience.

A very good place for vegetarian food and jain foods. You get authentic North Indian variety food. The price is also nominal. The service was very good. Table reservations not required though you will be required to wait for a table. Altogether a good place for vegetarians who wants to taste North Indian cuisine

To start me, I'm shocked why this place had only 3.5 stars on Google, the food here deserves a 5/5, it was just a gut feeling to try this place after going through the menu card, and I'm not disappointed...

For me it's the best place to have North Indian food at Chennai and the best part is, this restaurant serves only Vegetarian Food

The menu has options for every foodie and they've a huge variety for jain good too

Usually an Indian food is difficult order from foreigner. But, this place kind staff recommended food was very delicious and perfect dinner for me. Probably, I will go to this restaurant many times.

It's a Punjabi thali, where it costed me Rs. 220 per plate after all the discounts
It can be eaten by two persons very easily

The packaging was very good and neat,
Food was really soul fulling and tasty
The best India food with all the varieties was served at it's best.

Why is taste and proportion inversely proportional.

I mean I would love to go to this place on any day but the portion is so less. The taste is so so so good.

The food was delicious and the Ambience was great. Totally loved it. But they serve only north Indian dishes and also, only vegetarian. It costs around 600 for 2 people.

Evergreen.. every time we order the same sabzi ,they serve with different taste, we enjoy 😉 its our all-time favourite 😍

It was one of the best dining experiences we had in Chennai. If you are looking for North Indian food in Chennai this is a must go. The service was on point and the waiters made sure we are comfortable! They answered any questions we had and made extra efforts to give us a great dining experience. My parents were quite impressed!

Excellent food. Excellent service. Very humble and polite staffs. Tandoori veg platter was worth the cost. Toooo good. Good varities. Chur Chur paratha and dhall double tadka excellent. Jeera rice was a great to go. Too full to relish pataak paneer. So took a parcel. Good portion size. Pan ice cream was very very good. Not to miss. Nice place but better to go early to avoid crowd.

Simply Wow.Every single Dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. I am definitely coming here again! North Indian cuisine at its finest. Small tip is to be early on weekends as there will be a bit of a wait time. But to me this restaurant is totally worth the wait.

Mr. Prem took good care of us. With a very warm welcome and ensured we had what we required.
Personally, Portion size was a tad bit less.

The entire team to be specific Akash Biswakarma provided a very valuable service. Thanks for taking utmost care in checking with customers on their preferences. Overall Very good service.
