Yuru Retreat

This property is located at the stone throw distance from Delo Park. Outside view from mountain view rooms in the new building is unmatched. Rooms are very clean and well decorated. I still remember the mouthwatering taste of the chilli pork they served in the evening!

Yuru is like a second home for us now. Stayed here in May 2023 and again in Jan 2024.

The owner is a very helpful person who responds promptly to all queries and gives proper advice.

The staff are very helpful and courteous.

Food is freshly prepared, tasty and served very warm. View from the hotel rooms and terrace is just awesome.

More than 180 degrees view of the entire mountain range including all peaks. View of Teesta river is also magnificent.

Rooms are super comfortable and clean.

Highly recommended place. If anyone visits Kalimpong, Yuru is definitely the place to stay and relax.

Look forward to staying there again.

Had a great time with family. We got Kanchenjunga view everyday.

However they need to add more food items in their Buffet Breakfast. Options are very limited.

Yuru Retreat is a great place for holiday
This place is located near the Delo park. we are geting beautiful and magnificent view of mount Kanchanjunga from the balcony of our room. The hotel staffs specially Mr Dhanraj and Mr Able are very nice helpful and cooperative persons .we are very much pleased for there hospitality.

I have been there for twice, 2022 and 2023 with family, it is located amids nature,chirping of birds, the view of majestic kanchenzonga from room , balcony ,terrace, the sudden clouds covering you and everything, the view of teesta , small hamlets, beautiful flora and fauna surrounding hotel fascinated me.
They also very much keen to preserve local handicrafts, special counter can be seen.
The spacious well furnished rooms, wooden floor , cleaniliness, the discipline overall, the excellent staff behavior, specially Dhanraajji and Mr Abel are very helpful ,cooperative and efficient in their job.
The age old chef and his team, their attempt to perfection is always noteworthy.
Last but not the least the mighty Kanchenzonga ,sunrise and sunset is also a plus point for the executive rooms.
I wish best of luck for them for their further prosperity .

Wonderful location, view and rooms. Amenities are also good. Restaurant timings are a bit restricted and night there are no nearby places to eat as well. Food orders need to be given early. But taste of food and service is really good. Breakfast spread is also good. Not buffet, but they serve the options you choose hot.

We visited Yuru Retreat recently. We had a very pleasant experience there. Rooms are very beautifully decorated and clean and have a mountain view. You will be awed to see the bathroom with a separate shower place. The property is very well designed and maintained.
Lastly about food in Yuru Retreat. The best food we had among our numerous visits in North Bengal . At least whichever items we ordered were very delicious.
Looking forward to visiting and staying there again. 😊

Very nice hotel. Beautifully decorated rooms. Neat and clean toilet. Rooms have huge glass windows, but unfortunately we can not see much because of the fog. Big dinning area and good food. Service is very good. Overall a nice experience. Recommended.

We had booked room 2 and 3 which are on the same floor as the lobby. Rooms are of standard size although room 2 is much bigger than room 3. Still room 3 is very well made. The best part is thar you have enough space to keep your belongings and you don't have to bend atall to pick out stuffs from your luggage. Rooms are smoking rooms. From room 2 you can actually see the valley from your washroom as well. Food was also good and we had ordered fish curry, rice ,Dal ,bhindi Masala which were well made and the best in our whole journey. Breakfast was also very good although with limited items. The one thing which I didn't like is the waiter telling us that it's self service and they will not serve our food. But nevertheless it's one of the best place to stay in Kalimpong. Very nice location and I heard that the new premium rooms are good too. You will not regret staying here. They just need few more smiling faces. Smile and warmth is somehow missing.

Yuru retreat - is a small hotel with modern facilities.The view of the Kanchenzong ranges from the terrace and mountain facing rooms are breathtaking ...rooms are spacious and comfortable,staff are very cordial and nice . Resturant serves hot food and there's lovely view from the Dining area too ..Stayed there in the first week of June'23 & was my second visit to Yuru...keep it up Team Yuru !

Brilliant Views! Grateful to have stayed at a property so close to Deolo especially in the Spring Time since the Park was in full bloom!

The Rooms are done up well with the Balcony as the Piece De Resistance! Good fittings in the Washroom and a spacious Outdoor area for the Children to play at makes Yuru Retreat a Family Friendly Option.

While Kalimpong is getting utterly congested, Yuru offers a mesmerizing ambience and peaceful stay. At a pebble throwing distance from Delo park, the retreat is located.
The room, where we stayed, was big with two large windows and all other essential equipments. View from the window was breathtaking. A big dining hall is placed at the first floor and a beautiful terrace is at second floor.
The staff were always cooperative and the services are fast. You'll get enough space for parking within the premises.
I must thank to all the staff, especially Mr. Abel and Mr. Dhanraj for offering essential services.

Yuru Retreat is located about 7km from Kalimpong town on Delo Hill. It is just across the famous Delo Park. The Resort gives a panoramic view of Kanchanjunga and its sister peaks, the Sikkim hills and the River Teesta. We had one night stay which was not enough to enjoy the view of Kanchenjunga. I would say you will have a better view of kanchenjuga from here than the Delo View Point. The meals was also good and enjoyable.

Nice , spacious rooms on hill top with amazing view of kanchanjangha and teesta river. Get access to deolo park with ₹20 ticket per person.

I booked a room for three nights here. Absolutely the best budget friendly resort with excellent rooms, beautiful view of mountain and the place is quite peaceful. I love their garden with pretty plants and the food is extremely delicious. My best wishes to the kitchen team. Just that, I would appreciate if some staff members can stop embarrassing the guests by speaking in Nepali in front of them, so that we can't understand what they are saying, but my mother understood it and that was not nice. Otherwise, it was a good experience. 😊

We had an amazing stay at Yuru Retreat, Kalimpong.

Location: Perfect location at Delo Hill. 2 major tourist attractions named Science Center and Delo Park are next to this resort.

Rooms: We stayed in Premium room which was very spacious, clean, with nicr interiors and amazing view from the balcony.

Food: Food was yummy.

Staff: Special thanks to the manager Mr Dhanraj. I had forgot one of my important document in the resort when I left. But Mr Dhanraj was kind enough to courier it to my address. Mr Nishant also was always helpful.

Booked the premium mountain & valley view room with balcony for 2 nights. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The view from the balcony of Kanchenjungha & Teesta river is mesmerising. The interior of the room is tasefully done. It is located near Delo Park and probably has the best view of Kanchenjungha on a clear day. They arrange vehicles for pick up, drop & sightscene & the driver called Manish was also very efficient & helpful. The service is top notch where Mr. Dhanraj deserves a special mention.The food is good too though they can add some bengali dishes to the menu considering a large volume of tourists come from Kolkata.Overall highly recommended!!

The hotel is surprisingly good in every aspects.. Excellent location - walking distance from the Deolo park, great rooms with excellent views of Kanchenjunga range.. Food was good, nothing that I can complain about... Overall highly recommended

A superb resort located on the Deolo hill top just next to the famous sight seeing spot of Delo in Kalimpong. Highly recommended for any traveler who is looking for a quiet and relaxing place. The resort itself has flower gardens, walkways, a terrace with a view where one can spend the entire day. Facilities like bon fire , bbq available if one wishes to. The rooms are comfortable and they offer big windows to view the mountains and deep valleys. Rooms are very clean and hygienic. Everyday they will clean and change bed sheets. Food can be ordered from the menu. I personally found that the chinese dishes tasted better than the indian dishes. For nature and bird lovers there are footpaths just outside the hotel which will take you to hill top with amazing view and ample of birds to click for. The main chowk bazar and shops are little far and one must avail own vehicle or rent a taxi. The resort feels more like a home than a hotel. Highly recommend.

Best place for a holiday destination in Kalimpong. The rooms are a bit costly but worth every penny. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and having a modern design soothing to the eyes. You can get the early morning glimpse of Kanchanjungha which is world's third highest mountain peak from the room windows. There are also two viewpoints attached to this property. The Delo park is just beside and you can have a nice morning walk into the park to view and feel the mountainous natural surroundings during wee hours.
