Shitesh Babu's Zoo

A small sanctuary for wild animals. There is a feeling of serenity in this place. Houses animals found in the neighboring forests. A must visit if someone is in Srimangal.

It is a shelter for wild animals. Here you will find Beer, Monkey, Tiger, Donkey, Fox, Different types of bird and so on. The authority take care of all the animals collected from different part of Moulvibazar District. They feed them; they give them treatment if needed. It is a charitable zoo.

I would say it's a very rich zoo considering a private collection. Some endangered species with some popular animals and birds. But I think small space is a problem for large animals like bear and it was heart breaking to watch them suffocating in that tiny space.

Good place. However the birds and other animals are little categories but not bad.

Hat's off to Shitesh Babu for his effort. It's actually a rescue centre. Daily they need 10-12 thousand TK for food and other maintenance for the animals. But only around 2 thousand TK would be possible to collect by selling tickets. The government doesn't help. No welfare foundation has come forward to help. Shitesh Babu almost single handedly running this zoo. His face was damaged by a Bear and he's just a skinny man. What a great man! Nothing can stop him loving these animals. May he live long. And, if any welfare foundation can help, please do so.

Small place and small collection of animals, birds snakes and fishes, but they all are maintained very well with love. There are no big animals like tiger, lion or elephant. But, most of the animals I saw there, is not even in Dhaka zoo.
He even keep and take care of the bear, that made him disfigured and blind.

Good place to visit with your friends and family. The zoo is very clean and well maintained. However it is not very big.

First of all it's a private zoo of Sylhet division located at Srimangal. The owner of this zoo is Mr.Sitesh Babu.The entry fee is 20 tk for per person.The area of this zoo is not that big. It's pretty decent.But the collection of animals and birds are very good.You can see various kinds of animals and birds in this zoo.The zoo is very neat and clean.If you are planning to go to Srimangal than you can also visit this zoo at least one time and you will never bore.I visited this zoo a few months ago...and I also enjoyed it.At last one thing I must say undoubtedly; that the owner of this zoo is a true animal lover👍👍

It was a great place for animal lovers and kids. There are so many types of animals like birds, cats, tiger, monkeys, parrot, snakes, bear and so many. I just loved this place by visiting with mt family.

Very good place to see the animals closely. And I love their management and organisations of animals.

One of the most beautiful tourist attractions of Moulvibazar. A good collection of different animals including endangered species. A must visit place for children to learn new things and earn knowledge about animal kingdom.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. I have been coming here for the last 20 years. The animals are treated with love and care. There is a conservation program. I encourage people to visit here.

This zoo has a combination of unique and rare animals...Ticket price is okay but sad part is to see these animals stuck in a cage...

The place is good. You will find lots of animal here like dear, bear, wild cats, donkey, python, porcupine, vultures, monkeys and many birds.

Lot of rare endangered animals, if saying to collection, it is really inriched. Clean, well maintained, good behaviour from stuff. Recommended.

Sites babu"s zoo is Very attractive. There has zoo"s varieties animal's and birds. Many tourists and local people come to the zoos beauty.

Nice zoo they should include more animals, likes:- Tigger, Lion, Elephant. Over this is are nice environment to spend your 30 minutes with pleasure.
