The Shire Kalimpong Homestay

So this stay was our best stay in the trip. 3 of us were there they gave us good room in cheap rate. Manager was helpful He guided us in exploring other places, good hospitality, Mr. Pravesh was present to serve us and was very proficient in his soft spoken language. They do have a roof top cafe with a great view and with a great ambience.
If you are looking for a stay where you can work and enjoy so this is the best place. You will get wifi.

Very good place to stay. Rooms are very spacious and have an extra single bed. It was very clean everywhere in the hotel. Mountain view from the hotel was excellent. Very polite and calm behaviour from the staffs. Food was also very good and hygienic. You have to give the order for the food before hand and location of it is a bit far from the market.

Pleasant stay at Shire homestay. Very good service. Amazing surroundings and artifacts. Staff were very helpful, friendly and generous and cordial. Glad to stay there

The place is very well planned ,there is a lot of plants and trees inside the place ..the owners have done it all with their heart and have been doing this since long .....yes we had some issues with the services on the first day ....Chef Minajir can't be forgotten, his dishes were very good ,infact it was him who changed our perception the 2nd day ....the barbecue chicken was arranged and was worth it...

Lovely place, clean and comfortable. Has parking space if you have a vehicle. Lovely breakfast and owner is himself involved in the business Mr. Sonam Palden, so gives all the guest comfort of a home.

Very clean and comfortable homestay. Following covid protocols properly. But they admit stray dogs and they are quite ferocious. The dogs attacks guests.

Very neat and clean home stay. Location is far from main city croud. Decoration with plants is really interesting. Food quality is very good but little expensive.

This is one quaint homestay at Upper Cart Road, Kalimpong. The owner is an enthusiastic educationist, who taught in Bhutan for around three decades before retiring back to his hometown. Akin to his taste, he maintains this simplistic, yet, colourful space in loving memory of his pet, Frodo. The place exudes joy de vivre in the form of carefully tended gardens, a lawn, a collection of paintings, and a quaint cafe corner with hammocks from where you can gaze at hills... the list is long-meandering!

Wow, what a place. Stayed 3 nights. Far from the crowd but still can walk to city center (or take a 10 rupee taxi drive). Staff is amazing, all of them, very helpful and attentive. Food is great and room is spacious, spotless clean. You feel at home from the first minute. They will come to take your order from your room for breakfast if you don’t go down on time ;)

Fantastic luxurious hotel with refreshing atmosphere & delicious food.Only one problem...no direct phone number of the hotel was provided & the number was the customer care no of OYO.I had to get it through chat service of MAKE MY TRIP.

Though getting denied by the owner to stay I am giving it 5 star. because of his behaviour... They are not taking any Oyo guest as Oyo is a fraud app,does not pay the hotels... Dont use this fraud app and get fooled
