Best property to stay in Kalimpong. I must say one should visit Kalimpong to stay here. Everything is beautiful the place, food, hospitality, and of course the host. The main thing I liked is cleanliness. The town Kalimpong is extremely beautiful. They provide scooty rentals and day tour also.

Definitely the best homestay that we ever stayed in. We really enjoyed our stay with the Gurung family amidst nature slightly away from the Kalimpong town (it is easily accissible from their home by either by walking or by shared taxi). The food provided by them was amazing and they always went above and beyond to ensure that we are happy and comfortable. It felt home away from home. Thank you so much for hosting us.
We hope to come back here in the near future.

P.S. They have decent and stable internet connection, which makes it suitable for work from mountain.

P.P.S. We spent a lot of time in the balcony of the delux double room. So do book that room if it is available.

Had a great stay with the family here recently for a couple days. Super accommodating, hospitable, welcome - had a lot of great conversations with the whole family, and was able to check out a variety of sights/places in Kalimpong with them. They really do a great job making you feel like you're home with family.

Room is very clean and comfortable, with great views. Balcony is amazing too. Homecooked food is also very delicious. Paid car services also available upon request - easy to get around (within Kalimpong or beyond - they picked me up from Siliguri/NJP and also drove me to Kurseong afterwards)

We have an experience to stay with the Gurung Family in the first week of October , 2022. It was truly the amazing experience. The whole Gurung family are very much caring and cordial and we have no options but to ❤ them. The attachment and bonding was just like a whole family👪 . If anybody want to get the touch of home away from home, this beautiful home with love and care may be the ideal place.
I shall remember the morning walk episode with Mr. Santab Gurung throughout my life. He has also a vast knowledge about the localities as well as the history of the hills and also play the role of a real guide to us.
We have also collect Red Sandle wood (saplings) for plantation from his kind-hearted hand as a token of love. May God bless them all.

One of the best Homestay ever. Highly recommended for a stay in Kalimpong. Beautiful place, very well maintained, great people - almost a home away from home. The Gurungs literally personify the adage of Athithi Devo Bhavo. They suggested restaurants, accompanied us on city tours and literally took us down the path less travelled in the Neaora Valley Park. Not to forget the wide variety and delicious homemade food that they served. Also they are very very vegetarian / vegan friendly.

Best homestay experience ever! The host was simply amazing, great people, genuinely cares about your experience. They went out of their way to give us a local guides tour among many other small yet nice gestures. It felt like home. It was an absolute delight to stay there and meet the host and his family.

Absolutely amazing homestay one could come across...!! Mr. & Mrs Gurung own this beautiful estate at the top of beautiful kalimpong ..full of flora and organic farming... delicious, light food.. excellent hospitality.

Experience is very good & the food was excellent, Its an awesome experience to see early morning sunrises sitting at varandah,greeneries all around, garden fresh vegetables all we can say detoxifying and rejuvinating yourselves.
In last the owner bid the fare of guest by giving a piece of scarf as a token of love to Guests impressed me a deep. It is a safe place. No drunk or addicted youth was found there.... we are planning to visit the place once again and experience that wonderful stay all over again.

If you choose Mansarover home stay I bet you can never stay in future at any hotel/lodge of Kalimpong or its surrounding !!!
# It is not at the centre(500 mt up-way) and hence no crowd/noise/traffic.... only nature and you.
# You can get 50% of Kalimpong view from their balcony only!
# You can have a beautiful Ertiga perfect for a family at very reasonable charge for all your planned sightseeing- come back- station/airport drop. I have checked the charges outside and chose them.
# You can have customized meals at reasonable rate; cleanliness and freshly prepared homemade delicious foods are really mention worthy.
# Rooms are very well maintained with all possible amenities!
# A beautiful nursery is there in its small premises where you can see beautiful and rare flowering plants.
# Uncle(owner),Aunty ,Tina and Sandip are lazawab!!! Extremely helpful, kind and cordial. We will never forget them. You will not get the trace of business(like hotels) among them, I bet it will be your family!

We wish we could have managed one more day leave just to stay at this home stay which I consider to be one among all the points of Kalimpong sight seeing!!

Simply the best homestay I have experienced. Very comfortable and beautiful house with all amenities available, and the Gurung family are lovely people! Mr. Gurung accompanied us to Neora Valley National park & Changey falls, and shared interesting bits of info throughout the trip. Their son Sandeep took us around the Kalimpong market, while Mrs. Gurung & their daughter Tina cooked us sumptuous breakfast and dinner. We had wonderful conversations with the entire family, it almost felt like we are a part of the household. We also purchased some tasty homemade pickles from Mrs.Gurung. Excellent comfort, delicious food, amazing hospitality and lots of love. Thank You Gurung family! I would love to visit again :)

I am a traveller of sorts. Stayed in many star hotels before but never have received the kind of hospitality I got in Mansarover homestay. Mr Santa Gurung and his lovely family make you feel at home with the best home cooked food, spic and span rooms . Also Mr Gurung showed us around the best places in Kalimpong, Tinchuley and Lamahatta and clicked beautiful pictures for us. I am sad to leave Kalimpong but promise to come back again and stay with this extended family of mine
