Aapas Residency

My friend hosted his marriage here and the experience was nothing less than excellent.
The rooms are spacious but with all amenities you can ask for. View from the balcony is amazing. With good luck (and timely waking up) you can see the Kanchenjunga range.
Would love to visit again soon!

Just an awesome place. The hotel service is outstanding. Prime location and mountain view also. Food is also very tasty and good quality.

Excellent location of the hotel and easy access to the main bazaar makes this this hotel a very good place to stay. One can view Kanchenjunga and Teesta river on a bright sunny day from the higher floors of the hotel.

A pleasure indeed staying at Aapas Residency.A budget friendly, delicious food and most important very humble and helpful staff.The rooms are very neat and clean,from the garden area one can see kanchenjunga very clearly..The hotel is in close proximity with the market,so it's easy to go shopping, dining or anything else if one is looking for it in the market.As I am a long standing guest in the hotel i do not see any change of behaviour of the staff which is very appreciating.Though the hotel is just a walking distance from the market but very peaceful and calm.

This is my first visit here at Aapas Residency, it was the lovely experience. And all the staff are good. Feels like home . Yakub Tamang , Tabita Lepcha . They are too good. Hospitality is awesome 👍.

It was extraordinary experience with Aapas. The service they provide was beyond our expectations. Very polite and caring people. Highly recommend this place in Kalimpong.

This is my next home. I often visit Kalimpong and only stay here. Yakub Tamang, Tabsita, Nimrod they are like family they treat us like their own family member.

Aapas residency is definitely recommended if anyone is visiting Kalimpong. Very nice and clean, big rooms, awesome view with a beautiful small garden, outside seating area, lots of varieties of plants and of course the service is definitely the best. The owner Avikesh, the manager Sajan and his support staffs Asit, Nimrod, Yakub, Lakhpa .they all were very supportive and well spoken. They were all very polite. My kids just loved the place. Both of them got so friendly with them.
Most interestingly Asit, Nimrod and Yakub are all guitarist and can play very nice western music. I was touched by their talent. Actually the behaviour of the staffs and the service makes aapas residency the perfect place to spend the holidays.

The location is very close to Kalimpong market and taxi stand. The rooms are beautiful, spacious with large windows and aesthetic decorations. The balcony is nice and if you are lucky, you will find the clouds are touching the balcony! The reception area is tall, airy and people sometimes play guitar over there. The WiFi speed is adequate. There is in house restaurant service available.

The only downside is the weird design choice of the attached bathroom, where you will not be able to access the balcony if someone is using the bathroom.

Overall our stay was pleasant here, highly recommended for travellers who are looking for a quite and peaceful place to stay.

Everything was perfectly organised. We entered receiving a cordial welcome from the owner and the staff members. The room tariff is reasonable. The position of our room was magnificent, almost the entire range of the hills were visible from our room. It is nicely decorated with several antique items and plants. The food quality was awesome. In short, we just loved & enjoyed staying there.

The staff behaviour to room condition, hotel position all are very good...
The manager always take care of their guest and take prompt action.
Only the food quality is average may be it's for the regional spices.
Otherwise all good.

The staff are very polite and super sweet. The hotel has a great view it’s super cosy and gives a homey vibe. The ambience of the hotel is very innovative and beautiful. The food is awesome. Tobita was super sweet to show us the night view which is very romantic she is very sweet and polite. Overall it was a very cosy experience and would like to visit again.

Awesome view of Kanchanjanga and also of Teesta are available from the balcony. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Modern amenities are available. Bathroom is well decorated with geyser. A beautiful garden with sufficient open space is there. It is located at 200 meters from Bus stand but totally noise free area. The entire premises is presented with arts, crafts and plants. It is very charming. Delicious food items are served in the in-house restaurant. All the staff are very polite, well behaved and guest friendly. Price is reasonable. My experience is outstanding. Everyone must choose it.

2. Large property, spacious rooms in the NEW facility (we took Deluxe balcony facing mountain rooms)

It was a great experiences, entire hotel is decorated with plants. Clean rooms and bathrooms, linens were decent. All the staffs were efficient and well mannered. Wide range of fresh, healthy and tasty foods are available here. It has one additional well decorated garden and the view from the window is marvelous. Climate in kalimpong is something that makes you feel nostalgic. Anyway, don't think just go there.

We were really very happy on entering the Residency after a long journey. We received a cordial welcome from your front desk manager. It was very clean and everything was neatly arranged. The behaviour and services of staff were above our expectations. The food served to us was very good. Moreover, our trip and stay was pleasant . Planning to visit again in the month of January/February.
