I stayed with my friend in Kalimpong village retreat for one night and was one of the most amazing experiences we had secluded from the hustle bustle of the town. The hosts Sidharth and Suprina were very welcoming and treated us with the best local Nepali cuisine. The room is quite well maintained and the road to the property is well made. The google location exactly takes you to the place without any problems and they have good WiFi connection as well. Mobile network is also good in the property. Birdwatchers can have a amazing time in the property.People who like trekking there is riverside too where you can spend good time but make sure you are well prepared to hike.

A pet-friendly farmstay with amazing hosts. We had stayed there for 3 nights. Every cottage has a balcony with a wonderful view of the hills. A great place to unwind amidst nature. Good food, a clean place and absolute serenity - if these are your priorities this place is a must visit!!

All that I can say is paradise. I stayed 20 days here. I am in love with the place and hosts. The Organic food, Strong Wifi, Hygienic rooms love & travel stories from the host was amazing.
We are now family and had a life long relationship.. Highly recommend for Work from Home or away from Hustle life. Suprenna & Sid will make you feel comfortable and will treat you as family for sure.. !!

What an excellent place to spend your vacation at. Easy to go hikes nearby, quiet and comfortable location. Sid, his Wife and the rest of the crew were very welcoming.
Made us feel at home 💯💯 would recommend if you are near Delo.

The location is absolutely stunning, and the views are breathtaking. The property is really earthy, while also being beautiful and cosy. The community space has a really calming vibe, and this is a great property for a longer remote working stint (check on the Internet connection before visiting though).

Food was amazing, and prepped with so much love by the host Siddharth and his kind wife :) We had the opportunity to have some vegetables that were picked fresh from the property. Each meal was a real treat.

One of my favorite parts of the experience was having the company of two sweet dogs Blackie and Brownie who lived on the property.

Will cherish the memory of this trip!

One of the prettiest and most loving homestays i have ever been to. An idyllic setting, high speed wifi, amazing home cooked food, freshly picked vegetables and fruits, a gurgling river nearby, the forest and the waterfall in the estate... And lovely hosts ... Everything together makes it want me to go back again and again

Initially I was sceptic to plan for the trip after reading few reviews, but when we reached the place..It was peace ,nature and us.
Rooms were nicely maintained, all facilities were available but no room service and we didn't care.
Suprina(owner) was very sweet and caring.Food was simple, local grown and delicious. Locals are very cooperative.
Brownie will always guard U.
If looking for little adventure..Relli khola is few kms away.
Looking forward to visit again...highly recommended.

Kalimpong village retreat is the cutest spot with amazing food. Chicken Curry, chicken momos, Razma chawal..IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

If you are looking to spend a few days outside the hustle while you visit Kalimpong and yet be close to most points of interest, then Kalimpong Village Retreat should be an ideal choice. Hosted by Suprina and Siddharth, the homestay is like a little world in its own, tucked away inside terraced slopes and gardens, around 7 km away from the city.

From flowers and fruits to the very vegetables and rice that you eat, everything is grown in the farm managed by both of them. Loved waking up to some splendid views and hot coffee for a few days. Would highly recommend.

Sid Kafley Chhetri and his wife Suprina are super hosts. They know how to make the guests feel at home and comfortable with the right pinch of adventure. You choose depending on what you like cause Kalimpong Village Retreat has it all - be it a Honeymoon destination (a secluded solo cottage with a waterfall at your disposal) or be it a work-from-home destination for 2/4 weeks or be it a family/office trip. We were staying in the too cottages underneath the dining hall and the blankets are super comfy. Lower Icche (Baara Mile) has etched a mark forever in our minds.

Tranquility amidst nature...surrounded by Oak trees... Banana and bamboo plantations, organic vegetable garden. Comfortable cottage and rooms... Beautiful views. Good simple fresh home cooked meals.pleasant hosts.

My family and I had an unforgettable experience at Kalimpong Village Retreat. The property has an incredible setting with beautiful nature views surrounded by greenery, away from the noise and grime of Kalimpong town. The rooms are large, spacious, and clean. The hosts Suprina, Sid, and the 5-year-old Vedarth (and their wonderful staff and pets) took great care of us and made us feel like a part of their family. Suprina's cooking was generous, fresh and flavorful. Sid was helpful and accommodated all our requests, gave us great information for the rest of our trip, and helped plan our transportation. We loved talking to Vedarth and miss him to this day!

We were a family of older adults and, at first, were a little anxious about staying on a farm -- but the hosts went out of their way to help us in every way possible.

This place is a true gem, demonstrating the very best of hospitality and sustainable tourism. I strongly recommend anyone interesting visiting Kalimpong to stay here (for as long as you possibly can)!

Genuinely off-the-beaten track locations are rarer than hens' teeth these days in India, but that's precisely what you have in Kalimpong Village Retreat. Run as a real labour of love by husband and wife team Siddharth and Suprina (with their adorable son, Vedarth), it's a gem of a find. Kalimpong district is far removed from the hectic scenes in Darjeeling a few hours drive to the west, with a much kinder climate conducive to growing all manner of fruits, flowers and vegetables. There are numerous interesting day trips to be taken, including visits to Buddhist monasteries and scenic drives to isolated waterfalls, but the real pleasure lies in kicking back at the comfortable, intimate property, enjoying the excellent and plentiful cooking (all produce grown locally), spotting exotic birds (with the help of budding ornithologist Vedarth) and strolling through the tranquil, welcoming villages that dot the surrounding hillsides.

You'll need to be able to walk a couple of hundred metres up and down an incline in order to access the property, but the reward for that is true isolation. I didn't hear a car horn for four days.

What a beautiful farm stay it is ..
Really enjoyed a lot there..even I don't feel to go out from there ..a place with spacious room which offer you beautiful view of valley, best food, very caring people and nature all around..what else you need .!! If you r looking for a good stay with nature then you should must stay here..
