Hotel Lama Dhim

This is a review of the restaurant, not the hotel.

Very good food - we stopped for breakfast and though the kitchen was just opening, they made us lovely chapati-sabji and maggi-eggs. The restaurant is spacious and neat and clean. The washrooms are clean and outside the building. It's easy to locate from the main road, and has a good view of the Teesta river.

We stayed at Hotel Lama Dhim for a day in 18-19 January 2022 and were overwhelmed.
1. HOTEL:
The Hotel has basic amenities and is neatly cleaned & well-maintained. It looks beautiful from outside. One can catch the beauty of fascinating nature outside from the windows.
2. STAFF MEMBERS:
The BEST of all PARTs HOWEVER is the Staff and their behaviour.
a) We interacted with Ms Christina at
the Reception. She is ever-smiling, so
very sweet, soft-spoken, very well-
behaved, positive, helpful, considerate
and customer-friendly.
b) Ms Saroja at the Restaurant. A ever-
smiling, sweet, soft-spoken, very well-
behaved, concerned about the
Customers.
c) 3. Ms Prerna at the Restaurant itself.
She too is very nice, sweet, soft-spoken
and well-behaved.
I can sum up the rare qualities of these Staff Members by saying that we never felt that we had checked in at a Hotel. We always felt we were home with our near and dear family members. Hats off.
All Staff Members came out to see us off & wish us a happy journey as we boarded our Cab; a rare hospitality. They compensate for anything that is not available in the Hotel by any chance.
3. RESTAURANT:
A very clean and beautifully arranged Restaurant which provides you a very tasty food of all kinds. Hats off to the Chef.
We would love to visit the Hotel again to meet these Staff Members.

We would love to visit the Hotel again to meet these Staff Members. It is one of the BEST if not the best hotel in Kalimpong and for us it is the BEST OF BEST!

We went there on 11 th may,2022.stayed there 3nights. Excellent location,excellent room, excellent food,last but not the least excellent behaviour of all the staffs. We were very satisfied with our stay in hotel Lama dhim.

The best place to stay in. Neatly maintained rooms and courteous staff.

Food: The best chef is working here! And he cooks amazing and authentic South Indian food. Even if you don't stay at hotel, do make a trip to the restaurant.

I stayed here just for one night. It was kind of a way point between my journey from Kolkata to Darjeeling. Overall, the room was great with all the amenities. Its takes around 10 min to reach from the NJP railway station. If you have a lot of heavy baggage then ask for ground floor rooms as the property doesn't have lifts.

The chef is from Dubai.. and the ambience as well as the food is awesome.. the momos are my favourite..they r very juicy.. the foods are mainly oiless and the chinese is fantastic.. recommended for families.. MUST VISIT!! PS: this place may not accept credit cards right now due to the pandemic.. so please carry cash.

Located at beautiful places. You can enjoy the beautiful scenary from room available on 2nd & 3rd Floor. Staffs are also very co-operative here.

The food is very delicious! I have been here multiple times and this place never disappoints me ! I just love the food here! Great place to come with friends family! Also a great place to celebrate birthday parties of kids and teens!

Awesome food.....especially Mutton biryani.....I have heard that it serves gud pizza....but that day it was not available.....so a bit sad....but anyways the food nd the service was gud...keep up the good work!!!!!

Nice hotel , supporting staff but poor for surving breakfast , only breadtoast and tea is not worth . Restorent serves delicious food ,

Hotel Lama Dhim, a wonderful Place for Dine and Stay , With a additional View of Kalimpong sub hills and District. Managed by Jossephine Lama , a wonderful Lady .
