Very nice place, beautiful landscape and garden

I recently visited the Directorate of Chinchona and Other Medicinal Plants, Govt of West Bengal and I must say, it was an enlightening experience. The place is a treasure trove of information and resources on medicinal plants, especially the chinchona tree, which is used to produce quinine, a life-saving medicine for malaria.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the history, cultivation, and uses of various medicinal plants. The guided tour was informative and engaging, and the exhibits were well-maintained and informative.
I was particularly impressed with the efforts of the government to preserve and promote traditional medicinal knowledge and practices. The botanical garden was also a delight to explore, with a wide variety of plant species from all over the world.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Directorate of Chinchona and Other Medicinal Plants, Govt of West Bengal, to anyone interested in the fascinating world of medicinal plants and their uses. It's an excellent place to learn, explore, and appreciate the vital role of plants in our lives
