Sri Istakameswari Devi Temple , Srisailam.

Nice experience and good place to visit. One should Experience the devine of istakameswari devi, Only 120 tickets are issued per day. Around 40 mins journey from sikharam and 5-10 mins walk to the temple. Daily Annadanam for 120 members.

It was when I started preparing itinerary for Srisailam trip, I came across this remote temple in the midst of a forest. After reading the reviews on maps and watching videos on YT, I made up my mind to visit this place at any cost.
We reached Srisailam on Saturday evening & enquired about the tickets. Forest officers told that the devotees would start queuing up in front of the ticket counter from 3am.
Purchased tickets for Monday darshan and spent the rest of Sunday visiting temples in Srisailam.
Monday morning, we received blessings of the goddess and the jungle ride concluded, all our hearts brimming with happiness.
All the wait in the biting cold weather for tickets, was really really worth in the end. The cute little temple, prasadam served, hospitality of the tribals...This adventure will always have a special place in my heart❤

Most beautiful place in nallamalla forest... adventures ride through forest in forest jeeps... It takes 3-4 hrs of time to complete total trip...Most powerful temple inside deep forest...It's better to buy advance tickets.

Very peaceful place to visit chenchu tribes are located there speciality about temple is only temple in the world with that name they serve food too daily 120 members only allowed to visit 16 tickets release in online before 15 days (eg. if you want to go 25-01-2024 booking open @10-01-2024) if you want offline stand in line early mrng for next day tickets

Nice Place... offers an exclusive darshan of Ishta Kameswari Devi in the midst of beautiful nature. It was in deep forest, quite old temple which is in under ground, powerful Devi, one must go to Devi darshan, but you must follow local forest department rules and regulations, you must take forest department permission before you enter, do not carry plastic inside forest and be silent through out journey.
Note:
During darshan ask only one wish not multiple wishes, she will grant only one wish which should be easily possible not a complicated one.

This place has changed a lot since my last visit in 2014, now the commander vehicle reaches all the way to the temple.

Temple inside the Forest.
One has to walk nearly 8 to 10kms in the forest to reach the temple. The path is full of rocks and you need to cross small river streams. You will feel the whole stress and hardwork worth once you reach there. You will find small group of tribes staying there, they prepare rice and dal for the piligrims free of cost.Start your walk early so you can spend enuf time at the temple,as you need to walk back 8-10kms and cross the forest before sunset. Amazing spiritual energy flows here. The temple is in a small cave located in the middle of Nallamalla Forest. It is a tiger reserve and one need to use Jungle Safari jeeps to reach to the spot. Tribals consider Her to be a form of Goddess Shakti, the consort of Lord Shiva. The locals also offered us cooked rice with special tomato chutney.

Visited Ista Kameshwari Temple on Feb 14th 2020 and it is located about 22kms from Srisailam. Out of 22kms , 12kms good road towards Dornakal junction and 10kms in deep forest . There is no road in deep forest and there is no transportation to the temple. One needs to trek 20 kms up and down in deep Nalla Malla Forest, where wild animals roam about. But with permission of Forest department, one travel in Jeep . We visited with the permission of Forest department in a Jeep. The Driver shown pug marks of Tiger on our way. One should be physically fit to trek and also need to go in group of at least 5 people for safety. Also we need to carry food and water.

But be assured till now there is no unpleasant situation happened to people visiting the temple it seems.The Locals Chenchu's say that the Goddess protects us.
Even if you go by Jeep, you have to go by walk for half a kilometer to reach Istakameswari devi temple. On the way you can see Vinayaka statue and streams before reaching main temple.
Istakameswari devi residing in small cave like temple and fulfill all wishes of devotees once worship devi. The local people will provide meals to all devotees who ever visit temple. We have given Rs 1000/- as a donation towards Annadanamu. Meal was excellent in taste.

its a wonderful experience in deep forst,in some place we found panthers footprints also....i suggest take a local tribal guy as local guide for security....and they are very innocent and helpful....and istakameshwari devi also very powerful...we visited yesterday only....iam superbly thrilled....thank god for such a wonderful opportunity.....

Trip is about 20km from srisailam u have to hire a 🚗 mahindra commander jeep near ganga sadan they charge 770 per head & 20 for entry into forest but minimum 7 members should be there as a group
(as per today's date) journey is about 2 to 3 hour's definitely everyone will enjoy the ride, private vehicles are strictly prohibited.
If u can🚶walk u have to go 10km by road in personal vehicle or u can hire auto or bus and then 5 to 10km by🚶walk in deep jungle.
The temple is taken care by the tribal people's well cleaned as u seen in the pics temple is so small but very powerful as i heard by the local people's.

Hi, I have visited the temple on motorcycle. Feel great off road driving... very tough to take motorcycle. even we can't imagine such road. You can't see single person through out the route. U can't escape if any wild animal comes. Frankly speaking it's not a road to drive. One moment, i felt like better to go back. The entire route is full with big bumping stones & water streaming canal route. Its very very tough to reach upto temple. But with God's grace i reached & came back. Jai Mata di..!

A heavenly place to trek and to darshan powerful ishtakameswari devi. You can go by walk or can take jeep for rental. It is around 16km trip.

It is a wonderful Devine place. One must experience this feeling at least once in lifetime…🙏🏻 Sri matre namah. Online tickets available before 15 days of darshan. Offline tickets available 1 day before darshan at nectar forest place. Tickets will be issued at 8 am. But people will stay in line from 5am onwards. Only 100 tickets will be given per day. It cost 1000/- each. One person can take maximum 3 tickets.

Very good temple in the forest. Nityannadanam by chenchu tribals at temple is very good. One must visit this temple

This place is in nallamalla forest 20km away from srisailam. You have only access to this place by private vehicles every day from 8am to 12 pm from nandhi circle in srisailam who will charge 700 to 850 basing on the demand. You can still go by walk which vis 10km from main road.

The lord her will full fill your wishes if you pray her with whole heart.
