The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines in India. The temple is situated in a hilltop surrounded by dense forests, offering breathtaking views. The temple complex is large and well-maintained, The temple architecture is impressive, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning the walls and pillars. The atmosphere inside the temple is serene and spiritual, with devotees performing puja rituals and chanting hymns.We can also enjoy the scenic surroundings, including waterfalls and caves, during the visit. Overall, a must visit place for everyone who loves nature..

This is the only spiritual place where lord Shiva and Parvati having in one place. This is so precious and I love this temple. I want to say one important thing that at the early of morning at 6:00pm the all pilgrim's can go straight towards into the temple and can touch the sacred statue with the bare hands. Try after now there may be restrictions if you feel review is good do like and share.

Such a pleasure to visit this temple. So much devotional journey. But temple management is worse year by year. So much money minded. They have spoiled our hindhus culture. No improvement from the last 3years. Hope lord siva will take care himself.

It is amazing place to see all .This is one of the jyothirling where we come for worship the Lord shiva. No star can divine the amazing places. When we go to temple there is one dam having on the way which is huge and mesmerizing view .

The temple environment is so peaceful and many improvements are going on because of Shivaratri ahead..
Timings to enter the jungle:- Between 6AM 9PM

One of the most powerful temples in the country as it has not one but two specialities. One of the 12 jyotirlingas Mallikarjuna Swami and one of the 18 Shakti Peetams Bramarambika Devi. This temple is located in Nallamalla forests. Before visiting this temple do visit the Sakshi Ganapati temple as per the tradition doing so will be considered good. The temple and the town is great. One would also enjoy the journey if one is travelling from Hyderabad. Not sure about journey from other routes.

The roads are just awesome. Ensure taking coupan from outside if u would want to do darshan inside and touch Shiva linga. It's 1500 and 5k respectively. We were lucky to see the completely opened dam on the way. The jungle roads and route is also safe. Enter the jungle before 5 pm

U will also feel urself lucky after having the glance of this jyotirlinga. And before this u need to take darshan of ganpati temple which is nearby.

It's a 4to5 hrs drive from Hyderabad, roads are good. Ur not allowed on ghat after 9pm. Weekends will be rush. Everything required is available there.

Have visited this pilgrimage six times and the craving to go and visit the temple is lots more. This is one of 12 jyotirlingam. It takes 5 hours from Hyderabad so anyone can have visit in single days itself. However staying in guest house and having darshan in early morning is also a different feeling. However ghat roads need to expand, private bus vehicles with rash driving on corners are become scary to car drivers. Govt need for alternative options like up and down different routes

Visit to Sri Sailam temple "Mallikarjun Jyotirling dham" is an experience.

This beautiful temple is nestled amidts forest atop the hill.

The station overlooks dam built on Krishna rever. The temple is abode to lord Shiva and Maa Parvati.

The complex is grand however there is a calm at this place. Visitors can enter the temple via:
1. Free Darshan
2. Shigra Darshan : INR 150 per person
3. Ati Shigrah Darshan : INR 300 per person
4. Special Dardhan: INR 500 per person "in this you get to perform Abhishek on the lord himself"

Tickets can be booked online or purchased on the counter.
They will ask for exact change and dont accomodate any one without exact change.

Temple complex is very well maintained.

Visited Srisailam's Malliarjuna temple. There are various queues offered at temple apart from free Darshan like shighra Darshan, atishighra Darshan and another special Darshan that gives one opportunity to touch shivling. We opted for shighra Darshan and completed visit of shiv temple and brahmaramba devi temple around an hour. This time varies based on the day like week day or weekend or festive time or VVIP visits.

Car parking is limited so when it's full one parks on road side and proceed for Darshan.

Got Darshan of Lord Mallikarjun and Godess Bramarambika at Srisailam temple. Nice arrangements for accommodation, prasad etc at Sharanbasabeswar anna Chatra at affordable prices. Oct is good time to visit as all 10 gates of Dam were opened and you can observe scenic beauty of water falls, back water, green forest , . Rope way and boat cruise was fantastic. Over all good environment to visit.

The most important thing is cleanliness in any dormitory and this is what I like about this dormitory. It is very clean, and the washrooms are also clean. In srisailam if you are traveling solo, the accommodation near the temple is a big problem, they don't allow a single person to stay. I booked this dorm through yatradham and it is bit expensive but no other option.

I don't like one thing here is caste residency (కులానికి ఒక సత్రం) available in 21st century people think like is not GOOD.

We experienced a lot of joy while travelling on the ghat road along with some fear too. There is about 40kmghat road from telangana side, 60km ghar road from andhra side to reach the temple , at the time of shivaratri it takes 5-10 hours to compete darshanam, left days it take 1-3 hours, when we go there the dams gates are opened its a wonderful seen that the water was coming up and falling on people who were travelling on the ghat road.

First time visiting Srisailam, roads are crazy smooth, however narrow.

Need to cross around 100kms from forest.
Recommend you to have water and food items before entering the forest place.

It's was powerful God Lord shiva temple. I went many times here. 500,300,150 and free darshan are available. Based on money you will get early darshan. Saturday, sunday and monday will be crowd. Om namah shivaya 🕉

While travelling to temple we should pass from forest and ghat roads, it will be the better experience while passing from that nallamalla forests but in nights it will be little bit scary so better to go in day time. Out of 12 jyothirlingas srisailam consists one jyothirlinga(mallikarjun)
