Excellent experience in staying such a good quality of home stay. Very good location and great mountain view from the room and terrace. Excellent quality of foods and tea. Great hospitality received from Neelam Ji. She is always ready to help the guest. Overall a very good experience. We were staying here from 1st April to 3rd April.

It is the best home stay in any hotel & owner of home stay Neelam Madam is very nice. Her behaviour is very good. First we are reached in 31st March 2023 at 2.00 pm her welcome is very nice. The room of home stay is very very good. The mountain view room is very nice and i surprised. Room decoration is very nice total clean and clear. Also Toilet No water problem and hot water. FOOD : very very tasteful and reasonable price. First of all her food service very good and much quantity. One word we are definitely going to visit Shalom Inn again. Thank you Neelam Madam for making our stay and vacation wonderful.

Awesome ✨💐💐 The best home stay in Darjeeling . Beautiful Mountain View rooms with all the comforts of an expensive hotel is provided in Shalom inn home stay . The owner Neelam mam is so good in everything she helped us and guided us from sightseeing to everything. The food is also very tasty and tea is extra ordinary. Distance is near about 15 minutes from Mall Road .So we are definitely going to visit Shalom inn again. Thank you Neelam mam for making our stay and vacation so wonderful 💐💐💐💐💐

Very nice homestay in reasonable price. Neelam madam and other staff are nice. Their behaviour is very good and friendly. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Hot water supply is there. They cooked lunch and breakfast. Taste was good.

Excellent behavior of the staff and the lady owner is one of the most helpful person I have come across so far. Overall a nice experience is what I take from here.

Had the great pleasure of staying at this place with my husband. Neelam Di, the owner of this homestay will make sure that you never miss home. The homestay is at walking distance from mall market and the streets feel very safe even when walking alone at night. Rooms are cosy and very well maintained with a great view from the terrace. She caters to your every need like a family member. The food she cooks is delicious, the tea and coffee that she provides on demand is the best there is. Be sure to try out her thukpa. Overall it was a remarkable experience staying with such an interesting lady. Any thing you need she makes sure to deliver. This is definitely the place to stay while in Darjeeling. And once you meet the owner you will want to come back again and again.

The room was excellent. Neat and clean. We got a warm welcome from Neelam ji. The food was delicious. Whatever we asked for,we got that in time.I would like to mention Diya's name,who took a good care of us. Some stay we never forget,And staying in Shalom inn was one of them.15 minutes walking distance from mall.There is a stationary shop just beside the inn.We got one or two very good momo shop nearby. The bonding between Shalom inn and us will stay for ever. It was like a home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at Shalom Inn homestay. We feel like we are at home. Food was Great. Bed were comfortable. Would recommend it. Thank you Neelam mam for everything, hope to see you again in near future.

Our stay was excellent 👌 in Shalom inn homestay.
Location is 15 minutes from Mall road and the owner of hotel Neelam ji is amazing . She takes cares of her guest in every way . Food is delicious and rooms are big and beautiful and very clean. Toilets are very clean too.
Overall this is the best homestay in Darjeeling. Not to forget mesmerizing view from room ,,. Mountains with beautiful cloud flying can be seen from room itself. If weather is clear even Kanchanjunga Himalaya can be seen from mountain view room.

A combination of best hospitality, location,view, comfort and relaxation.
Unbelievable friendly and adorable host with her most amazing breakfast ideas. Tea is always available just tell her and she will give you the finest kadak chai, even you can buy pure first flush tea from her. Why to buy from big brands while you can support local initiatives for there hardwork! I loved it soo much! Although it was my first homestay experience, I'm satisfied.
She is just amazing with her hospitality and humanity.

We stayed for 3 days and our stay was just awesome the host was excellent she was exceptional the room was very comfortable and all the amenities was spot on. The view from the room was very good and also from the terrace view was very good. The food was very homely and tasty the location was also good it was a 10 min walk. Overall i would recommend everyone who is visiting Darjeeling to stay in this homestay

For the love of hills, we stayed in Shalom Inn located in the lap of the green steepy mountains, being greeted by the valleys each morning from the rooms. We have enjoyed our stay here and were overwhelmed by the services offered to us. The quality of food was at par along with a genuine company of the hotel owners. We were given pick up and drop service from a specific point in Darjeeling. We also enjoyed a mini bonfire on the very first day of our stay at the terrace arranged by them. We would definitely recommend this place if you're willing to stay in cozy valley view rooms with a sheer experience of warm gratitude.

amazing.. Nilam di(Host) is too friendly and we enjoyed her delicious cooking. Her tea 🍵 was really great.. Her way of welcome and her total behaviour touched our heart... Room was very comfortable
and decorated. Her home stay location is very near from mall. We are happy to took excellent Darjeeling tea from her.. My daughter enjoyed a lot with Nilam di and her son.. If you want a beautiful and homely place away from the hustle of Darjeeling this should be your first option. A place with great food and splendid view from the rooms and the terrace. Also has a great atmosphere and homely attitude towards the guests. Overall a great experience living there.

We had our perfect workation for 2 weeks. The rooms are beautiful and the host is super helpful. If you planning a Darjeeling trip then this definitely has to be your go to choice. You get the view, you get the ease of connectivity, you feel welcome and sufficient. and the food is YUMM
While booking, i would suggest to connect directly with the host by making a whatsapp or normal call on the number provided in the description.
Breakfast is included if you book directly through the host. Rest assured you cannot feel any more "At home" on a workation.
We had no internet connectivity issue, power backup is also there and yess ofcourse much needed hot water.

LOVED the place!

This is one of the finest homestay you will ever find in darjeeling. I stayed here from 11th Oct to 14th Oct 2022. Specially the view and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The behaviour of the bhai (don't know the name) helped me with opening gates and stuffs even at late night (which is usually very late at hilly areas) to park my bike inside. Whenevr We wanted tea the owner of this homestay Nellam di made us finest darjeeling kadak chai. Nedlam di made us felt like a home. It's like I am staying in my friend or a relatives house. Though I am younger than Neelam di and all still I will bless her that her homestay flourishes more and more. May her upcomming project for the homestay goes well and she and her homestay grows more and more. Amen!

It was my first experience in homestay and it was completely worth! The view is breathtaking from the terrace and window! Nilam di was very kind and cooperative. The food was delicious and rooms were pretty clean! Had a great time all together and wish to visit soon for handmade cake and momos!
