Food and atmosphere are awesome. I love this place. I took their foods while riding from their place. This is one best restaurant in this local area. We eat momo and waiwai from this awesome restaurant 😋

Loved the Nepali Thali suggested by owner...It was so delicious and unique for me as it was my first time trying nepali thali along with other traditional food like spinach pickle. Also homestay is going to open in this place as well very soon, its like cherry on the cake. I would totally recommend this place to have food that makes you feel just like homemade food😋

MANISH is a wonderful person, and probably one of the best persons I have met in darjeeling in a long time. Gurung's restaurant offers you foods and stay and an ambiance that youll remember a long time. Located Just beside Japanese peace pagoda, this place offers the best plum wine, a must try. If not stay, must visit and experience the food while visiting the pagoda. We loved the place. Cozy and beautiful.

Food is awesome, reminded me of home. If anyone looking for authentic Nepali, it's the place you should head to and you'll not regret a cent. Atmosphere is energetic as well as tranquil at the same time, all thanks to wonderful host cum manager, Manish Gurung but everyone calls him Gurung Bhai with affection. Plumwine is perfect and honeybee Brandy you can't miss, honey directly originate from mighty Himalayas. Gurung Bhai will make your day, he might sing songs for you but you'd have to check that by yourselves, I can't tell everything and ruin your surprises.
Have dinner, lunch or breakfast or a drink, make an excuse and just go there, we'd great time there. We'll come soon, Gurung Bhai.

We came to this restaurant by chance. Had a wonderful meal. Got 3 plate veg fried rice and 1 plate chicken momo. Exquisite taste. And as a cherry on the top, the owner was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Hope to come here again.

5 stars are less for this place. The food is amazing, the place is cozy, the owner manish is so very nice and takes care of everyone in the best possible way.. The service is in parallel to a 5 star restaurant. It's near Peace pagoda/Japanese temple. Must must visit. And must try is plum wine

It was such a surreal experience in this cozy restaurant and the Owner Mr. Manish Gurung is the Life of this place... Great Guy and so welcoming and he sang karaoke with us.... Had a Great time here..!! A must visit to this hidden gem..!!

Cool place with cozy homely vibes. The Wai Wai was reallly tasty and the plum wine is sweet yet strong. They give you good guidance around your trip and idea about the easier roads and new places.

One of the best mind blowing experience we had when we planned to walk it to Peace Pagoda in Darjeeling. We did not expect anything like it when we walked in here.

The owner is very hospitable, engaged us with wonderful conversations, he even sang 2 songs by Karaoke.

Experienced the local Plum Wine over here and it's absolutely delicious! The owner is so warm and friendly and we had the most amazing Wai Wai as well ❣ A small quaint place away from the hustle and bustle and a perfect place to chill and relax, highly recommended ❣❤

Visited this beautiful restaurant at the beginning of my Darjeeling tour. It is a whole vibe. Loved every bit of the restaurant. The food was just amazing. N the owner itself.
