Good hospitality, excellent food, clean rooms and toilets. The whole family is together to provide good experience. Sometime I feel homestays are better than hotels for a great experience. This place is photographers friendly.

We stayed at this Homestay and both Sabir and his wife are very well managing this homestay. Hospitality was very good and this place has a very good view of forest wherein one can see birds from the room itself. Sabir is also a very good bird guide for this area. This place is must stay at Latpanchor area in Darjeeling district.

Location, place, hospitality, food all are a absolute delight .. Sangita, Sabir and Sr. Subba ji are all wonderful persons who really make you feel at home, best place for birding & Sabir is the best guide for that .. Enjoy .. WiFi is an added advantage

Very Nice place to stay for couple of days. They served us with worm hospitality and very kind manner. Food quality was good. A must visit place for all tour lovers. Their food, accommodation and behaviour is just amazing. All the members are so careful. It's feel like home away from home.

We stayed for two days here. Latpanchar itself is a beautiful place to be for mountain nature and bird lovers. Sabir bhai has been an excellent guide with through knowledge about species and their habitat. The homestay run by subba family has. Been an wonder experience with amazing hospitality wonderful arrangement in rooms and so much tasty food. At the end my only regret is that I was here for only two days, will be back soon.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The view outside the window is too good. The food served is very homely & tasty. You can feel the warmth of the hospitality provided by Sangita & Sabir Subba.

This is a home stay which justifies the word home away from home. Excellent hospitality and the food is just amazing… been there with my dad, they served such apt food to him ( considering his diabetes and hypertension) . Can’t thank enough to Subba family.
Now comes the birding, Shabir da is the best birder I’ve come across, he knows the forest and loves nature … definitely coming back soon …

Latpanchar Homestay is one of the best place to stay on the lap of nature and watch various birds. Every member of Subba Family especially Sabir da and Sangita di are the best hospitable persons. Rooms are cozy and food is awesome with a touch of local cuisine. The homely environment and warm hospitality will make one feel not a guest but as their own family member.

I visited many home stay before but this one is exceptional as it's owner took care us very well. And we r spell bound. They are always on a call. Rooms are very neat and clean. Food test just like home. And they treat us like their family member. Very happy to stay there and waiting to visit here again. Thank you.

I didn’t ask if they hadn’t studied hospitality or hotel management but their hospitality is impeccable. We were overwhelmed by the accommodation, food, toilets and everything.
There are some things that cannot be expressed in words, they have to be felt.

1. Sabbir Subba( Owner) is the best guide for birdwatching at Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary in Latpanchar.
2. All the members are very cordial.and understanding.
3. Quality of food served here is awesome and quantity is good too. You can choose your dish in advance.
4. They provide vehicles for sightseeing and and for drop to Siliguri at very competitive rate.

Try to book this homestay directly...then you can get it at cheaper rate.

Truly said....it was a home away from home..we didn't find any scope to feel that we were out of home...we were treated like family member..and yes, it is there main USP. Moreover, the super tasty food and hospitality by Sangita ji was acts as positive catalyst in our whole trip...frankly said it was our beyond expectations. The way they arranged for sight seeing and bird watching was really appreciable. We surely visit your lovely Hamlet.

A very good place to enjoy the beauty of the majestic dooars and a lovely view of the Teesta river this particular homestay is my second home. It's always a birdwatchers and wildlife photographers specially bird photographers paradise. Even it's a good family place and nice hangout place. A very homely atmosphere serving warm welcome to all of his guests and the food is really tasty. Loved the place and would really want to recommend this place to all of my friends and family. The climates very good out there. They also offer pickup drop facilities to Siliguri and NJP. Darjeeling is very close by and people can have a short trip out there too. Ahaldhara and Namthing Lake are they most enjoyed places out there. Ahaldhara offers a nice sunrise view and a clear view of the mighty Kanchenjungha.
