This resort situated at just river side... From room you can take stair to get in chota Rangeet river... Wooden cottage like rooms with attached bathroom..

All good ..but don't book through ruksuck..they are most fraud...and taking high charges

The place is very beautiful, well maintained and staffs are well behaved. This is a remote place but scenic beauty is mesmerizing. If someone wants to do activities or expecting some places to visit near the homestay, definitely this place is not for them. This is the place of leisure. One can stay here doing nothing. This place is full of peace. But reaching there is very easy. Share cars are available from darjeeling to bijanbari bazar. Then there is hardly 15 mins walk to reach here. But owner and staffs are really helpful. One can just call them and they will send some vehicles to bijanbari bazar. Food is also good. One can also request for some special dish also.

Visited this place in the second week of June with the hope to enjoy some good time with nature. Travelled with family and enjoyed the stay very much. My 5 years daughter was so happy that she wants to stay another day there.
We got room 8 and it was clean, washroom was also neat & clean. Riverside cottage with a great scenic view and with a continuous thrilling sound of river stream made our stay very much unic.
Food item was limited (expected considering a remote location) but quality was good. Kitchen was clean and they maintain proper hygiene. Behaviour of the staffs are also good.
There is pool where we have enjoyed some time, also after lunch we crossed the river and visited the tea garden opposite bank of the river. My daughter enjoyed lot the whole trip and we have spent the full evening with the nature playing with river stream.
At the end I want to thanks Sourav bhaiya & Bhavi for their kind friendly behaviour. Thanks bhaiya for arranging the transport. I have bothered you lots 😞 during your marriage ceremony but thanks again for all the help.
I also need to mention to Kishor Bhaiya for the great support.
This is not the last time....will visit again...This is the place where my daughter enjoyed lot outside our home.

Location wise this property is wonderful. Quaint and picturesque. The staffs are always ready to help. The food was not very delicious but the portion, and simple approach is all expected in a place like this. We cannot expect luxury in such offbeat place.

Good properly with bad maintenance. Water is very bad, as they pump the river water directly. Lot of black water.

An awesome resort in true sense of the word. It's hard not to love this place. Situated right at the foothills of the hills overlooking the Rangit river. It's a sight to behold! The raging Rangit river with all it's might is literally a magnificent sight. You are bound to get the feeling that the river is at a touching distance from your balcony. The ambiance is amazing! Perfect for a weekend gateway with your friends /family /loved one. The food is to die for. Each and every items that we had tasted were delicious. I highly recommend everyone to opt for the chicken barbecue. The taste of the chicken barbecue is something else and it's bound to satisfy your taste buds. Their marination of the chicken barbecue is what sets them apart. We stayed at the tree house and it's the best cottage of the lot. Please try and opt for the treehouse if possible. There is a swimming pool as well which you can access. It would be at a walking distance of 5-7 minutes from the property. However, the water of the swimming pool is dirty and isn't ideal for swimming. I opted to take a dip in the Rangit river and it was really amazing. Just be mindful of the rocks as they could be quite slippery filled with moss. The river water is clean. Please be aware about the flow of water as it is quite rapid. The bed linen could be much cleaner though.

Outstanding is too less to describe the experience. The location, rooms, food are just mind blowing. The hosts Mr. Saurabh and Ms. Monica are extremely courteous and helpful.
Much recommended for not less than minimum 4 nights.

All good. The best place to visit for a day when you badly need a relaxing time to spend. Food quality and quantity is more than expected. The location is kind of lap of nature. Just go for it without any hesitant.

We had been there for two days, the place was awesome. We did a lot of activities like swimming in the pool,river,fishing, we had barbeque there as well. Every stuff of this property is very friendly. We took their bike for buying things from market. And they provided the bike without any hesitation. Other than that. If you wanna stay in the heart of nature you will find a few insects as well. Not only different kind of birds. So Don't go through other reviews. Try to explore things with the perspective of the place.

Such a wonderful time I have spent in this resort. Their driver, Prayash have received from NJP. He is a good & helpful person.
My resort was beside the river. View from the room was beautiful. Kettle, immersion rod was available in the room. Room service was also very good.

Excellent place to stay 👌... Equipped with full of natural where you can feel your breath & heart beats too ....Tremendously clam place where you can lost yourself within the nature .... Extremely Co-operative staffs ... test of food are really very mouthwatering.
2 special host are there to Welcome you.. Charchil & Uki .. They are very friendly... Wish to escape again .....

What a swimming pull view in hill.
@ Little suggession about swimming pull water , not cleanning properly routine wise . As per pic on Google not same , either good .

Great location. Excellent vibe. Once you get in the river the experience is just WOW!!! About the resort - rooms are moderate and in need of some maintainance. Service needs to improve a lot. The look of the resort is eye catching.
My suggestion to people who plans to stay here - carry torch & emergency lights as electricity gets off quite a lot and sometimes for the whole night(though they have generators but not to be run for whole night). Carry mosquito and bug spray. They provide mosquito repellant but due to the area being mountain forest you will witness bugs that you have never seen in your life and in an amount which is a lot.
The guys at the resort are helpful but needs a little push. You can get chicken BBQ done at 500/kg. A bit of proactive service will change the place from a 3.5 to 4.5 star.

It's a good homestay in lap of nature

Me and my friend visited this resort last weak. Our experience was fabulous. First the Hospitality of every stuff of this resort, was just outstanding. Second the location of this resort. Rangeet river view balcony made my days there. The whole area atound is safer than proper kolkata city. Thank you rangeet river resort team.

The room were good, tree house was good but the service is not upto the mark.... Need to push them for every request. If you don't want to go anywhere and only want to stay in resort then it is excellent for you, but if you want to go for shopping or site sence then it will be bit expensive for you... As you have to take their cabs only. Rest place is good for relaxation and food is ok.

Thank you sir for hosting us at an alluring place. Yes, we are strangers untill we met you. But now, we think we are family.
Location of the homestay is marvelous just like the behaviour of the staff and the owner. You can enjoy your sip beside the incomparable beauty of RANGIT along with the humble company of Mr. Pokhrel(owner). Don't go there to find perfection of the stay. U can find out your imperfections freely while enjoying the beauty of RANGIT.. Be a nomad and enjoy the stay...

Breath taking view near Relli river, rooms were good and maintained too. Room services needs improvement Geyser were not working, water not was available through out, food was mediocre, Rest room needs proper cleaning.
