Namaste Latpanchar Homestay

Overall had a great experience..I generally don't write reviews but this homestay just blew my mind.. I would recommend everyone to stay in this homestay and feel yourself the beauty.. Rooms are well maintained, neat and clean, very cozy. And the pleasure of eyes one will get while standing in the balcony with an amazing view is indescribable ❤.. Staying in this Homestay, you need not to worry about safety. The food they provide is very tasty ( made by aunty ) with extra local delicacies ..
Would love to visit this place again and I must say that I fell in love with Latpanchar because of this Homestay.. Thank you " Namastey Latpanchar Homestay " for making our vacation lovely..

A beautiful village with full of greenery. December January is the perfect month for the mountain View from your balcony. Rooms are very clean, well decorated & view from room is so beautiful. The owners are so humble & well behaved. Service is very prompt & provide so delicious food. Every penny is worthy.

Had a very pleasant stay.
The room was huge with 2 double beds
Washroom was clean.
The food was very homely & delicious
The hosts are too kind❤ ; They ask for your food preferences and prepare them accordingly.

Only negative point was: There was no fan in the room..I know the temperature there usually donnot support the need of fans but nowadays due to global warming at times the temperature during day time rises high
That time we need fan.
If possible they should arrange for a stand fan in each room...the guests can use them as per their need

But overall an awesome stay!

Our stay in Namaste Latpanchar Homestay for 2 days was a memorable experience. Rooms were clean, staff cooperative, and the window view nice. Good home cooked food and chatting with the owners family, and a warm farewell, all made it a pleasant homestay experience. One can book birding trip and avail pickup and drop car facility from NJP/Bagdogra also.

One of the best home stays I have ever been to. The host “Anmol da” and his mother and father are so welcoming and humble. Extremely comforting.
Homely food everyday. Some amazing pickles and chillies to accompany the food.
Rooms and toilets are kept in a neat and clean condition.
Kanchenjunga range is seen right outside the window giving a pleasant sunrise experience.
And if you love dogs they have 3 most adorable dogs ever.
Overall it’s been an incredible experience and I will recommend everyone to go here.

It was my first ever birding trip and also first ever trip to North Bengal, what me & my fellow members have across the trip will be in our cherishing memory forever. Staying at Namaste Latpanchar was just amazing, warm welcome, homely cooked food, very clean and well maintained rooms & bathrooms, view from Windows and last but not the least the warm good bye will definitely forever with me and whenever I visit over there again your place will definitely come into my mind.

It will be difficult to forget our trip to Latpanchar. Partly because all the brightly coloured flowers on the front of each and every house, the tiny little birds and the scenic beauty of the Himalayas make Latpanchar a uniquely beautiful place. But more importantly, it is because of our stay at the home of Mr Prasad Rai and his family.

Our room and bathroom were spotless. The entire premise is very clean. The view through the window and from the balcony instills calm and peace. The food was delicious. The guidance provided by Mr Rai, Mrs. Rai and their daughter Puja was genuine and appropriate. They understood and appreciated our wishes (we wanted to explore on our own as much as possible without taking any standard package tour) and provided solutions that matched our needs (often going against their own commercial interests).

They are a very warm and kind hearted set of people. They treated us as one of their own (even organised a barbecue!). We connected at an emotional level (and not merely transactional). Also the trinity of Neenam (Puja's daughter), Lee and Leo (very friendly canine members of the family) made the stay even more enjoyable.

One of best homestay in latpanchar.The view from the room is awesome. The foods are tasty. The owner mrs pradarshini ji and all the staffs are very good,polite and co-operative. At the time of booking she told me to provide the mountain facing room and upon our visit she provided us the best room of the homestay.this was our 1st north bengal visit after covid situation and we have lots of memories to cherish. Will definitely visit again

In my words, away from city you will definitely feel peaceful there...

Not about the homestay, for travellers one suggestion, please keep at least one BSNL SIM with you to avoid connectivity issues over phone.

Firstly .. great hospitality.

2ndly.. nice window view(if weather isn't cloudy). You can enjoy view of kanchanjangha from window.

3rd.. location is good. But isn't 360 view.

Behavior of host was excellent.. many many thanks to Atul for such arrangement and kept all my request.

I can suggest anyone to choose this homestay. You can get bon fire 🔥 barbecue arranged at terrace.

But if you are looking for hill top or planning for camping 🏕 its not that place.

A wonderful experience altogether coz of very humble hosts and obviously a wonderful weather at Latpanchar. Sense of belongingness among host was very high. Love to see them again to enjoy nice food prepared by my lovely Sister.

It is the perfect place to stay if one is looking for a few days off from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms are excellent and the views are spectacular. On clear conditions,Mt.Kanchenjungha is clearly visible. The service is also very good and the location is very easily accessible by road. The given photos are from one of the rooms of the resort.

First of all thank you for your wonderful service and behaviour. That made our stay more enjoyable. Your homestay(Namaste) is cozy, superclean and has a beautiful view. The food is very tasty and the kitchen is also very clean and well maintained. There was no difficulty at all. Overall it feelt like home out there.
Namaste provided the vehicle and took us to ahaldara and pokhori. The breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga from ahaldhara at sunrise is a must see for all visitors and also the rare salamander can be seen if you are lucky.
At last I would like to conclude that this is the best short tour from Siliguri that one can possibly experience.

It was my first homestay experience and I must say that the amazing hospitality is worth remembering. Latpanchor is a beautiful place and the value of this place is carried by this sweet family. We stayed there for two nights and three days but never felt that I was away from my hometown. I suggest everyone to visit this cozy place to have a mesmerizing experience.

I stayed in so many homestays in Darjeeling and sikkim region but am really amazed with this homestay's hopitality and behaviour.. I didnt even feel that this is my first time .

Down South from Bengaluru, this was our very first exhilarating experience of travel to North east part of India, viz., Latpanchar. Our homestay at "Namaste Latpanchar" was a pleasant one. The rooms were neat and tidy, the hosts Mr.Anmol and Rai Family members were very warm people in general with great hospitality services. The food was hygienic,simple and tasty. Besides the stay we had a great experience on learning and sighting the natural habitats of local birds, flora and fauna of the village and the surrounding forest region. We were amazed with the knowledge the Rai family had on local ecosystem. Overall an gratifying experience!!

We stayed there on 30/09/2020. The rooms are clean. Foods are tasty. The view from the room was excellent. Atul ji, the son-in law of the family was very friendly and caring to us. Pradarshani didi and her mother took care of us very well.

It's an excellent and exceptional experience I've ever had in any homestay in North Bengal. Which I loved most is their behavior and accepting their guest as their family member. Will visit again and again for sure.
