Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh is an absolute must-visit destination for anyone exploring the spiritual and scenic wonders of Uttarakhand. Situated along the banks of the holy Ganges River, this serene ghat offers a perfect blend of tranquility and spirituality. As a traveler, I was captivated by the mesmerizing beauty of the river, especially during the evening aarti ceremony, where the atmosphere is filled with chants, prayers, and the soft glow of flickering lamps. The ghat is also a hub of activity, bustling with pilgrims taking ritual baths, sadhus meditating, and locals engaging in various cultural activities. It's a great spot to immerse yourself in the local culture and witness the essence of Hindu traditions. Whether you're seeking spiritual enlightenment or simply want to soak in the natural beauty, Triveni Ghat is an experience not to be missed on your journey through Rishikesh. Plus, the nearby markets offer a plethora of souvenirs and local delicacies to indulge in. Truly a gem of Rishikesh!

hello to all
Visiting Triveni Ghat at the break of dawn was an experience that I will cherish forever. Arriving at 5 am, I was greeted by the tranquil beauty of the sunrise, a sight that filled me with a profound sense of peace. The early morning ambiance at the ghat is something truly special. As the first rays of the sun kissed the water, the whole place seemed to awaken with a gentle vibrancy.

Around me, people were immersing themselves in the holy waters, engaging in rituals, and offering prayers for blessings. Observing these acts of devotion amidst the natural beauty of the ghat was deeply moving. The blend of spirituality and nature's serenity at Triveni Ghat has a unique way of touching the soul.

I spent about an hour and a half there, but the time seemed to fly by. The sounds of the morning - the gentle flow of the river, the soft chirping of birds, and the murmurs of prayers - created a melody that resonated with the surroundings, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.

Being there, surrounded by the stunning view of nature and witnessing the devout practices, was a reminder of the beauty and spirituality that exists in the world. It was not just a visit but an experience that evoked a range of emotions and left me with a lasting sense of tranquility.

The early morning visit to Triveni Ghat was indeed a remarkable experience. It's a place where nature and spirituality converge, offering a moment of reflection and connection that is hard to find elsewhere. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, spiritual solace, or just a moment to appreciate the beauty of life.

I hope this revised version captures the essence of your experience more vividly and makes it easier for others to understand the beauty and emotion of your visit to Triveni Ghat.

The Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat brings you so much closer to Spirituality. I have experienced goose bumps when the pandits start the aarti and do all the movements in sync with the music . The feeling that they are surrendering themselves to the River Godess Ganga is overwhelming. It is an amazing experience and brings you closer to yourself.

Reflecting on my unforgettable experience at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh! 🙏🌅 As the sun began to set, I found myself drawn to this sacred riverbank, where the convergence of three holy rivers – the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati – creates an atmosphere of profound spirituality. 🕯✨

Amidst the rhythmic chants and the gentle flow of the river, I witnessed the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a deeply moving ritual that filled my heart with peace and reverence. 🌊🕯 Each flicker of the flame seemed to carry prayers and blessings, uniting the gathered souls in a moment of collective devotion. 🙏

After the Aarti, I lingered by the ghat, soaking in the serene ambiance and reflecting on the significance of this sacred place. 🌟 The sound of bells and the soft murmur of prayers echoed in the air, creating a sense of connection to something greater than myself. 💫

Peaceful. Beautiful and serene view.

The evening aarti was so calming and then afterwards when everyone danced to the tunes of hare krishna ...that was lovely!

Experience was something that one should go and feel for themselves.

Parking was not an issue. It is quite reachable too. Not too crowded. Tickets are not required for visiting and attending. But if one wishes to be seated in front three rows, so they might have to buy the aarti parchi for themselves. As those rows are reserved for the same.

Evening aarti timing was approx 15 mins prior sunset time, which was 6.45pm something that day. Ideal to reach 30-45 mins early.

There is a shoe house inside, so footwear can be kept safely there, for which they provide a token number.

Most Refreshing place I've ever visited. You can visit at 6:30PM for ganga aarti. I visited during Mahashivratri and I had the best experience cause you can experience the aarti and a beautiful sunset can also be seen.

Ganga looks really beautiful here. The green colour is so beautiful. I felt calm sitting there in the ghat. We went around 11 a.m. there weren't much people at that time so felt really calm and soothing to sit on the river side.

You want peace, serenity, divine bliss and maa ganga - you go to Triveni ghat.
In case you're planning to attend the evening aarti, I recommend going at least 30-45 minutes before the scheduled time to secure a good spot from where the aarti can be seen peacefully. The place gets very crowded on weekends.
Aarti is followed by keertan which is a vibe in itself!
