Best food service with taste they are providing. One of the best things is you will get jain food as well. There are two chotiwalas but both are almost the same. Mr. Gaurang is the best person to talk and let you know about the history of him and as well as the restaurants.

Situated In walking route for ramjhula. Person is sitting infront of restaurant with complete makeup and Bell which is really amazing experience.
They have multiple food option. Something different experience must visit to see the person sitting person.

I ordered a thali of Dal Makhani and Laccha Parantha. It was so damn delicious. Will recommend it to everyone.

Good experience eating here . One of the oldest in rishikesh. They have many outlets here as well as in Haridwar . Not sure which one falls the original or all of them are related. But food was good. Service was nice . The staff was very patient and calmly recommending dishes to us. The servings portfolio I did not like. I had ordered h chole Bhatura. They give 2 big bhaturas and gave chole in small vessel. Of course they wud refill it again if u ask for. But I felt that they shud give enough quantity upfront.

Very famous restaurant situated near Ram Jhula. It's very spacious and have sitting arrangement for non AC and AC sitting. The food has a lot of variety and one can always turn to this restaurant for empty stomach. Food is simple yet tasty. Main attraction here is the person sitting outside hotel with choti and looks pretty cute. Overall good food joint. Staff is also supportive. They will not take order after 10.30PM so I suggest you to visit it before 10.30.

Sambhar is spicy. But the service is good.washroom also not clear

Amazing place with amazing vibes. The service can be a bit better but the taste of the food on the table was amazingly delicious. Quality is good, ambience is better, service fast, Rates are above average. A fat man with a चोटी for attraction outside the shops. 2 shops are there, ask guard which is old one.

We never ate here but we had nice masala chai.
The meals look good value for money.
And remember that there are three Chotiwala's.
Two here at Swarg Ashram and another at Ram Jhula (across the bridge next to the taxi and bus stand).

Chotiwala was one of the most unique themed restaurant I have ever visited.
As per the name one uncle were sitting outside the restaurant with a huge choti who was smiling and having photos with the passers-by mostly the people who ate in the restaurant.

The place is hugee.. you cannot imagine such a huge place in the small galiyaan of Rishikesh. There was a huge non ac hall which was 10-15% cheaper than the hugee AC Hall on the first floor. Food quality reamins the same. Just the extra service charges.

We tried a lot of items.
Chotiwala Thali was the best among them. Chola Bhatura , Dosa , Shakes etc
Even next day we had Tawa Paneer packed and all of the items were amazing. One of the best places to have food in Rishkesh.
Service was quick. Staff were also good and very cooperative.

Location wise its near to the Ram Jhula (Laxmanjhula end) and on the way to Parmarth Niketan.

Must Try.

You should visit here atleast once to celebrate the lagacy of the restaurant.
The restaurant is near the Ram jhula, Geeta bahawan side of the jhula.

I had a lassi here that cost me 80.

And don't forget to take selfie with iconic chotiwala there.

Place stands true to its name, really hygienic, friendly staff and great food! If visiting rishikesh must try their thali which is sattvik and freshly cooked for us. Loved the taste.

Very nice restaurant. The staff is very supportive and quick. The food taste is good. The paneer tikka masala was very good. Other things were okay. It was my first time here so have no reference to compare but food was good compared to normal restaurant. The waiting area is also large so you don't have to wait in queue. Overall a very good restaurant.
Tha best thing is AC seating. Given its near to ganga we still need ac hall to survive the heat

Oldest Vegitarian restaurant/ dhaba styled eating place in Rishikesh.

This place is always filled, you will have to wait longer to get the table but it is worth. But also you will have to wait longer to get the order on table

They serve all types of North and South Indian food with snack items also they have a Chinese menu. They serve thali too but it has a separate floor and seating space.

Food is really tasty and cheap cost.

One thaali has 4 rotis,2 sabjis,kadhi,daal,rice and sweet. People who cannot finish sharing is allowed. The food was very tasty.
