Experience of lifetime… we paid 450/- per head for a 12km long rafting from Shivpuri to Ram jhula.. we were 6 members and we had so much fun. There’ll be various grades of rapids so if you’ve any kind of health issues please refrain from going.
If you’ve Vertigo then you might feel dizzy because raft would go round and in rapids you can fall too.. it’s all for thrill there’s no risk in any of it.. but with health issues you can be a risk for yourself and others in raft.
Explain it to the crew and they must help you.
Additional payment for videos and photos as you’ve to submit all your essentials to them.
Preferred is to not carry anything valuable along. Wear chappals as it’ll be easy and you might as well loose your footwear during heavy grade rapids.
You can keep your essentials in a bag and leave it in their office too.
From office till rafting start point they’ll take you in their vehicle.
In between they’ll stop for Maggie chai there you can take your phone out, pay for foot, take pictures etc.

Rafting is one the best experiences in rishikesh. Its the best place to do it in India.I repeat it's the best place to raft in India.Just go to rishikesh make call to any firm by searching on Google they will give you all guidance where to come and how to come. They are pickup and drop facilities. The place where rafting is done is Shivpuri in Rishikesh. No matter if you are alone they will accommodate you with another group. If you are more than 5 then you select by yourself there is 8KM 12KM 16KM 26KM Rafting. You are single or two then you will be accommodated with any group as per ur choice and availability. There is guide in every raft who has GoPro mounted on your helmet charges 1600 from full group for videos and photos and Rafting charges for 12 KM is 620 per person. All your devices and wallets will be kept in a waterproof bag in a raft.In March is the peak season then rates are double that time. The guide will teach everything what to do when raft is toppled or how to stop toppling. Everything u need to know.So don't be fearful anybody can channelise your energy to do these beautiful activities around

I recently had the opportunity to go rafting in Rishikesh, and it was an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the rafting center were friendly and professional, ensuring that we were well-prepared and equipped for the adventure ahead.

The rafting itself was nothing short of thrilling. The rapids of the Ganges River provided an adrenaline-pumping ride, with each rapid offering a new challenge. The pristine beauty of the surrounding Himalayan landscape added to the overall enchantment of the journey.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, making us feel safe and secure throughout the entire trip. They provided clear instructions and guidance, allowing us to navigate the rapids with confidence. The team's emphasis on safety was evident, with everyone being provided with appropriate safety gear.

Aside from the rafting, the overall ambiance of Rishikesh was truly captivating. The serene atmosphere and spiritual vibes of the city created a perfect backdrop for our adventure. I also appreciated the range of other activities available, such as cliff jumping and camping, which added to the overall excitement of the trip.

In conclusion, my rafting experience in Rishikesh was a fantastic blend of adrenaline, natural beauty, and cultural immersion. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an adventure-filled and memorable experience.

Rishikesh, known as the Yoga Capital of the World, offered us a different kind of adventure. As the sun rose over the Ganges, my friends and I embarked on an exhilarating river rafting journey.

The cool waters and challenging rapids tested our teamwork and courage. Waves splashed, laughter echoed, and our hearts raced as we navigated through the pristine wilderness.

But it wasn't all about adrenaline. Amidst the adventure, we found moments of serenity, floating peacefully on the Ganges, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Himalayan foothills.

What an experience, I must say! If you ever visit Rishikesh and don't go for a rafting, it's a wasted trip. First, you need to register for rafting at local shops. There are three rafting options: 16km, 24km, and 32km, all worth it. I chose the 16km option because the 24km wasn't available at that time, but it was impressive too. First, they give you instructions on what to do and what not to do. After completing around 60-70% of the route, they'll stop at Maggie Point, where you can buy Maggi noodles or chai, depending on your preference. In the middle, they ask if you want to jump in the water, and it's a fantastic experience.

How wonderful experience it was. Just awesome feeling. Wowwwww...Actually i am feeling excited when i am writing this review for rafting in Rishikesh. Just another level of adventure of my life. When i was going for it i felt little bit scared for this adventure. But after completing it i felt totally mesmerized. This part of my tour in Rishikesh was just awesome. Before starting this adventure my tour guide has given all the instructions regarding the rafting like how to deal with water during rafting ? or how to row my boat? Or how to take precautions ? Although i wore life jackets before start the rafting, still felt nervous. But when entered into boat and start rafting everything became normal. Guide was instructing every second of time what to do next. The whole adventure was in some parts with different names. I completed 16 km of rafting within 1 hours and few minutes. My guide was also funny. He made the adventure very easy. I also entered into mid of river. Some times waves tried to pull down me into water but somehow managed to keep boat in continuation with the flow. It was also raining at that time and it made adventure more meaningful. Really suggested to all travellers must go atleast one time with this adventure. I promised you that you will be enjoy it. I also planned more in kms in my next trip to Rishikesh. Must do adventure for adventure lovers.

Absolutely worth. This was 3rd time when i went for this adventures ride. Your breath gets on hold when rapid comes, but you enjoy each micro second of tides when you cross it. Once u get green signal to jump in water, you will live that day as a Life time memorable event.

Rafting in Rishikesh was an exhilarating experience for me. I opted for the 15km stretch, which cost me Rs.700/-. It took me about two hours to complete the rafting, with a break in between. It was a thrilling ride on the rapids, such as Sweet Sixteen, Roller Coaster and Golf Course. I felt the rush of water and wind as I paddled through them. I also had a chance to jump in the water and swim along the raft for a while. It was refreshing and fun.

If you are new to rafting, you might want to start with the 9km stretch. It has three rapids that are suitable for beginners: Initiation, Double Trouble and Hilton. You will still enjoy the adventure and the scenery, without getting too exhausted or scared. The rafting guides are well-trained and friendly, and they provide you with all the safety equipment and instructions.

The best time to go rafting in Rishikesh is after March, when the snow melts and the water level rises. The river becomes more lively and challenging, adding to the excitement and fun. You can also enjoy other activities in Rishikesh, such as camping, trekking, bungee jumping, yoga and meditation.
