Rishikesh bus station

The city has two bus stands, one for the plains and other for the hills but both are beside on another.... you can easily find a reasonable stay near the bus stand...the helpdesk was closed when we reached there but a travel agent really helped us...

Rishikesh Bus Stand is very large Space... Transportation facility is very good from This bus stand . you will get bus to major cities like Delhi 24 hrs . There are waiting rooms & washroom available , where you can rest and wait for your buses .
Taxi and autos are available even at 2 Am .
There are also shop outside the bus stand for Breakfast & rent scooty and bikes .

If you are coming from anywhere to rishikesh by bus then this will be the first place you will touch in this holy city of yoga .... From here you can see the mountain ranges that are there to give you warm welcome in this city.....
You can get bus for almost any near by place like , Delhi , UP, himachal pradesh ,, and rest part of uttarakhand like baba kedarnath dham, etc........

This is the bus stop for all the buses coming to rishikesh be it private or government. You will get busses to almost all the destinations from here only. You will get taxis to kedarnath and badrinath as well or to other dham yatras as well.

Very useful bus stand to connect the char dham Yatra, great registration also available for char dham Yatra for pilgrims. Waiting room also available to wait your bus, all facilities are very good and available, guest room also available. All buses are connected to all India state. This is located 3km away from yog nagri rishikesh railway station. So easy to connect with transport.

It's such a beautiful bus station. There is a big ground type area there in bus station. It gives you wonderful vibes. You can find buses to Delhi all day and all night. It is situated on Rishikesh - Dehradun highway.

A helpful tip for travelers heading to Delhi: As this is a government bus stand, private buses are not permitted to operate here. Consequently, agents may approach you offering private AC buses at an attractive price of ₹500. Despite initial hesitation, our experience with these buses was positive.

Private buses can be found at Goura Devi Chowk, located around 1km away from the government bus stand. Agents will provide free scooty pickups from the bus station and drop you off at the private bus stop.

Fantastic station, had a great time there, and it was simple to catch buses to Srinagar and Delhi.
Providing restrooms and snacks, busses arrive every ten minutes.

Located right at the city center. Takes about 30 mins to reach here from Nepali Farms. Loads of travel options available to reach Lakshman Jhula and Triveni Ghat. Best would be to rent a two wheeler, prices around 600 - 800 for a day.

Good service...you can get buses (AC / Non AC) running between Delhi and Rishikesh easily..and also get autos or rikshaw easily to explore nearby places

Wonderful place , if you are visiting rishikesh and you reach here early in the morning then you can stay in Rain basera- offered by the uk govt. It's timing is 5 am to 8 am.

Buses for delhi meerut Ghaziabad modinahar etc are available here....
There are two bus station in rishikesh..
One for plains and another one for Garhwal hills...
And buses are run through Uttranchal transport corporation..
And some another buses are run through neighbour states..

Experienced that public transport can be effective. Much cheaper and convenient and faster than cabs. Rishikesh stand is also clean.

Its really good bus stand. If you can walk little bit you can get auto from main road 10 rupee to nearby places like ram jhula etc. From bus stand they go as reserve auto so charge considerable high. Bus service is really good to haridwar. Dehradoon, delhi. So enjoy bus ride and auto ride in rishikesh.
