Jama Masjid of Nagpur is very beautiful from outside and equally beautiful from inside. Two wadu's have to be performed here for Namaz. This mosque is located in Mominpura area, at a distance of two kilometers from the railway station. This mosque is counted among the historical mosques of Nagpur. People come to this mosque from far and wide to offer Namaz. This mosque stands without pillars. There are no pillars in the middle or on the sides of the mosque. This thing also makes this mosque historical. There is a good market for clothes, Muslim caps, Ihram, Ja-Namaz and Islamic books around the mosque. Biryani hotels are also present around the mosque.

Jama masjid is one of the top cover masjid in nagpur have good space for parking,sitting arrangments in park and good atmosphere maintain .

This is Main masjid of Nagpur. It's very peaceful place. There is small garden under it's premise. There is maktab deeniyat (islamic school) runs here. Almost 200 students learn quran and hadis in two shifts. Beside all islamic rituals, sacred scriptural teaching management of this masjid also provide lodging facility for students of schools and colleges in very reasonable rates.
