Shruti Veg Restaurant

Authentic maharashtrian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of the Nagpur city.
We ordered the jhunka bakhar , khawa poli , dal tadka , palak dal and pav bhaji.
All the dishes were packed with delicious flavors and were prepared fresh. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. And reasonably priced as well.

Highly recommend this place if you are seeking for good vegetarian food.

I have visited this place many times and trust me it's the bestest veg restaurant.

The food is awesome but your timing visiting here should not be Saturday and Sunday evening. However, if you wish to, please go 30 mins ahead of hunger.

Food is delicious, would have given 5 star for atmosphere, had there been a AC hall. Rest is good

It's a good place to go with family and friends. Food quality is always good. If you come after 7:30pm then you always have to wait for a table. Thursday off.

Super duper place for Maharashtrian and north indian food. Have been here many times and this place never fails to impress. The food preparation is really great and the service is very good. The dishes are made to order and they are very accommodating and helpful.
The interior is simple and comforting. The seating arrangement does not give a lot of privacy but is really great.
This one place where there is a waiting generally and the lunch timings are a bit odd as they close at 2.00 PM and then open at 7.00 PM.
For breakfast a must have is Misal Pav and sabudana khichdi. For lunch one should not miss the bhakari with jhunka and masala baigan / baigan bharta. For dinner they have a diffrent special vegetable and all are great. Patodi is very nice.

Our favourite restaurant for veg food. We had veg thali, patodi rassa and chapati. Khawa poli in sweet. All were very tasty.

Super duper delicious food. Loved the marathi way of cooking dal Tadka and you can only get the best and authentic dal Tadka here and puran poli as well. These two are must try :) bhindi masala and veg anda curry are other two good dishes to be tried :)

These are the two thalis we ordered for each of us. One is 'Shruti thali' & other is 'Special Shruti thali'.
The shruti thali (cost -150/- +GST) was provided with 5 rotis, rice, two types of sabzi, 1dal, 1 kadi, salad & papad. The taste was so authentic, according to Maharashtrian cuisine. Perfect for a lunch date.
The special shruti thali (cost 238/- + GST) was provided with 3 paratha, 1 bowl of pulao, 1 paneer sabzi, 1 normal sabzi, 1 kadi, salad & papad. The combination of paratha & paneer ki sabzi was delicious 😋, pulao was okay-ish, kadi was made subtle & mild (not too strong, not too flavorless), other sabzi was tasty too.
Place is always full with customers, compacted place. Its like just eat your food & go (this is the vibe I got, you can get a different vibe).
The key is to be grateful 🙏 for the food, taste each flavor differently first & then mix match different flavors to heighten your experience.
