From outside temple look really good architecture vise. I visited during the 2nd week of March. It was very sunny and hot. The place was quite crowded. There was a queue at the entry. We are not allowed to take slippers and mobiles inside. There is shoe stand at entry of the temple. That is also quite crowded. If you are coming with car there is a dedicated parking area nearby.

This is a very good place. You can worship Mahadev. This temple is an example of ancient engineering. You can find lots of temples of other gods inside main temple.

Lingaraj temple is a famous historic place to see in Bhubaneswar. It is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva..... 😍💫 Security is quite strict there. They do not allow phones, cameras, purses and shoes inside the temple campus. There is a counter to keep all these things near the entry...... 💓😊It is a very good example of the architecture and design skills of our history.......👍🏻💗 Beautifully stone carved temple dating back more than 1000 years. Very clean, calming and well managed area....💖💖One important point: Since this is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the rush on Mondays is very high. So, it is better to go very early in order to have a darshan.A must visit for your trip to Bhubaneswar.👍🏻🙏🏻😇

I have visited this place on weekday. Very beautiful place. Holistic place. All 108 types of Shivji temples are replicated here. Car parking is available Rs50 per car. No tickets are required for darshan. Before entering into the temple we have to keep mobile and cameras outside of temple in locker.

The uniqueness of the temple is that the temple's primary deity is an amalgamation of Lord Vishnu and Shiva and represents their combined power. And It is the only temple of Asia where one can offer Tulsi and Bel-बेल (wood apple) to the Sivalingam.

We visited late evening around 7.30pm or so. Ample parking and no rush in those hours. Blissful & soulful experience. Truly blessed 🙏🙏 to have got such a beautiful darshan.

The tower of the temple is a conical structure shaped like a beehive - the central tower standing 55m tall.

I visited this temple as part of the Odisha golden triangle in Bhubaneswar. The temple is one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneswar. Sadly, entry is not permitted to non-hindu. Jains & Buddhists are allowed, unless you’re a foreigner, which doesn’t make sense. There is a platform built specifically for viewing on the east side of the temple grounds. You can see the temple is very typical of this region and an excellent example of Kaḷinga architecture with a long hall and a tall tower above the shrine. The tower has a pyramidal roof made of up several horizontal layers arranged in sets separated by vertical cut-outs.

One of the most beautiful temples to visit. Once you enter first time, you will find hundreds of Gods inside. Really a surprise. What an architecture in that olden days. It is not a place to visit in 10 minutes. At least you need half a day. Mobiles are not allowed inside. Otherwise we can click more than 100 times.

This temple was devoted to shiv ji..and here 108 shivling temple you can see. Very adorable place to visit..looks very ancient temple. Har har mahadev. Very close to bhuvneshwar railway station just 10 min by car. Temple is surrounded by nice and green parks. There is no ticket . But when you will reach inside , you have to buy 10 rs ticket for prasadam or for what i am not sure bcoz of the language constraints.
