Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens

Note to visit before 8am for morning walk else Rs 40 after 8am. A very beautifully maintained botanical garden with Lotus pond, ride garden, Lake, running track, some peacocks and birds chirping.

Huge and beautiful park near Chandaka forest towards Jaydev Vihar and Nayapalli. It is a Botanical garden as well as a park and it is the largest park in Bhubaneswar city. With lots of plantation and tree variety this place is best for nature lovers.

Its a beautiful place and lots of activity things are there for children below 12. The coffee shop there is amazing and they serve koraput coffee. It tastes amazing and its kind of like a book Cafe but with nature. So it was amazing.

A wonderful place for the morning walkers. A Paradise for flower and plant lovers. Well maintained. The place is rejuvenating.

Annual Flower Show was really awesome with large variety of flowers...The rose garden was really wonderful...

Got an opportunity to be here during the flower festival, very well maintained, have huge parking space inside , loved the overall view!

I visited with family morning walking 🚶‍♀ it’s time feel nature and take oxygen tree 🌳. This place was fresh relaxing and healthy

It's a beautiful park with many specific plant species gardens , a glasshouse , A water body (which was previously used for boating - now there are no boats). There's a marshy area just like Nalabana of chilika near Bamboo garden. There's a park for children (strictly prohibited for Adults). All this at the ticket of Rs40 (previously it was 25. Bhubaneswar's Koraput Coffee is present inside this botanical garden.

Very beautiful and calm place for morning exercise 5-8 AM . Also 8-5pm park opens for everyone.

Ekamra Kanan is also known as the Cactus Garden as it is home to more than 1000 varieties of cactus plants.
The park is divided into different sections that include a small children’s playing area, musical fountain, beautiful flower garden and a lake with a boating facility. The park certainly deserves a visit as it has something on offer for all age groups to explore and enjoy.

This was a scenic and very beautiful place.
Morning walker can go upto 7:30 with 5Rs ticket each. After that price is 25.
Boating facilities not available right now.
But this has so many fragrance plants, wild fruits trees, children park for kids, koraput coffee, lake with a view, musical fountain, rose garden etc..
Overall wonderful place to be with nature.
Eatables not allowed inside the park.

FLOWER EXIBITION FOR TWO DAYS ON 12TH AND 13TH JANUARY... PARTICIPATION WAS WIDE .. NICELY ORGANISED BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE..❤❤❤❤

They have increased their ticket price from 25 to 40 rupees and you have to first buy a ticket and then enter. Inside present the Koraput coffee and literally they serve the best cold coffee .the aroma of the coffee is so attractive and the cold coffee costs 150 rupees. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to go before 5.30 pm as the park closes at 5:30pm

The Kanan(Park) is very big and beautiful. Try going there with your family and friends, you will really love the surroundings there. There are a lot of flowering plants, cactus, ornamental plants. The place is really peaceful. There is a medium size pond there ,you can try boating if it's available there( currently it was not available).

When you are here,you can try the famous Koraput Coffee here. Every year the govt hosts a 2 days flower show here in the month of January which is the best time to visit this place. In the show you can buy different plants from here at a reasonable price. The only problem in these 2 days will be the crowd and parking for vehicles.

Btw there is no entry or parking fee for the 2 days of the flower show but except these 2 days the entry fee is Rs.25 per person and Rs.20 for two wheelers.

The place was good. I specially went for the Koraput Coffee and the view from the pond was also good. It’s very peaceful to spend your time there. And less people also. If you want to take a walk you can walk around too.

This garden is a fantastic destination for families with young children, as it features kids rides and other attractions. The well-maintained gardens and the play area provide a perfect setting for children to play and have fun while parents can sit back and relax. It's a great spot for a family day out.
