Kalinga Stadium

It was great experience to see Kalinga Stadium game for the first time, also derby (Mohunbagan vs East Bengal) very nice atmosphere, clean place, another best football Stadium in India.

Kalinga Stadium, the premium sports complex of Bhubaneswar is a pride of Odisha. Definitely one of the best equipped, laid out, excellently maintained sport infrastructure in the country. Has to it's credit the holding of back to back hockey international competitions including the Hockey World Cups. Recently launched one of the modern Indore athletic track. Currently holding AFC club football matches, another international event.

The spectacle is wild. This place feels magnificent as ever, the vibe is absolutely magical and crowd chants go raw. The sanitation of this stadium is peak and ticket system is elite.

The stadium had been chosen as a venue for the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup which was later postponed to 2021 but was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic and later shifted to 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. It was initially chosen as a venue for the 2022 AFC Women's Asia Cup in 2021 but was later dropped off. The Govt of Odisha gained widespread reputation for the successful execution of the "90 Days Challenge" for hosting the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships when the former venue Ranchi backed off from hosting the event 3 months prior.

The stadium is located in the centre of the Bhubaneswar city. The location is Jayadev Vihar. Airport and Railway station are also near to the place. Fantastic infrastructure with great facilities. From entry till exit everything is managed properly. Proper security at each point. Everything is managed so nicely that there won't be much rush for entry during matches. Food stalls are also available inside at pocket friendly price. Clean washrooms are present. I have watched ISL matches, AFC Cup matches, FIFA World Cup qualifier match, Kalinga Super Cup matches here and till now I didn't faced any kind of problem.

I got a chance to attend a felicitation program where Navin Pattnaik was invited. Went to Kalinga stadium after ages and I was amazed with the facilities. Bathroom were neat and clean. Kudos to staffs and security for managing seamless events. Seats could have been bit comfortable.

I went with my friends to watch a football match, And you can also enjoy the very good match vibes there, U can't take a water bottle from outside. Yeah that's for the security reasons of players, But I loved that place.

Kalinga stadium is a very big stadium of Bhubaneswar. I am fascinated to join the swimming club . Very nice management and clean . The staffs are helpful and toilets are also very clean. It's a very fascinating place for a sports lover .

Best hockey stadium in entire India. Proud to be in the beautiful state Odisha. It's always welcoming the whole world. Nice ground security check is all good and ticket price is very low. All things are good only problem is they took more money for popcorn 🍿. 😂

Recently visited Kalinga Hockey Stadium for the FIH Pro League 23/24 Hockey tournaments and was thoroughly impressed! There is a International Hockey Stadium and another Athletic Stadium inside the arena. There is large Fan Zone for fans. International Sports Events are hosted here. Great view inside the stadiums. These are very large in terms of sitting capacity.
Good hospitality for viewers inside stadium. Food, drinking water are available inside. There are total 9 gates for entry and exit.

It is the 2nd largest hockey stadium in Odisha followed by the Birsha Munda hockey stadium in Rourkela, it's making it's name globally by arranging 2 world cups back to back in a row, pride of Odisha promoting sports and making history by successfully organizing various international tournaments, hockey world league 2017 was played here, hockey world cup for juniors 2021 was too played here! World class stadium with first class arrangements, clean, beautiful, washrooms, rest rooms, training rooms, different sporting rooms are available!
