White Peak Homestay

We had an amazing stay and experience here during monsoons. Although accessibility there was a bit tough due to the hill walk but the owner was super helpful and always on feet to escort. No doubt the rooms have a super cosy and luxurious vibe with all the basic amenities and a great mountain view from the balcony. To top it all was the granny's amazing homecooked meals and there hospitality to vouch for, highly recommended.

Situated in Gandhi Road, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main Darjeeling city. Rooms are excellent - spacious, clean and well decorated. The washroom is fitted with geyser and 24/7 water is available. The view from the balcony is refreshing.
A perfect stay for couples, small groups or even solo travelers.
Shubham bhai is most helpful and will serve you delicious breakfast, morning tea always with a Lovely smile in his face.

Definitely a 5 star.

One more secret - you can actually have a great view of Kanchanjungha from the terrace if you care to go there 😉

I've visited Darjeeling multiple times but this was something new. The location of this homestay is wonderful. You can enjoy the view from both the room and balcony.... If someone is up for living in a village with all the accommodations and chilling with a drink along with a view of mountain and pine forest, this is the place...
Moreover Subham is the one who always serves all the guests with a big smile even at 3pm also...

We experienced the view of Kanchenjunga from our window. We were lucky enough to get such beautiful weather on the very first day of our arrival. The warm welcome by our hosts was remarkably good. I look forward to our next visit to Darjeeling.

The rooms were great, beds were super comfortable. The caretaker was very kind. It is a little up hill walk as most of the cab driver won't go that far to drop you but over all it was a great experience.

Totally loved this place....a pleasant view of the Knachanjanga mountain from the balcony. Truly Amazing place to stay in. Staffs were helpful, Especially subham was an amazing young man Absolutely clean washroom and room. Tasty breakfast, gives superb beginning of the day. Highly recommend this homestay for a relaxing vacation. The cozy rooms have been build to meet the standards of a desirable hotel room and it caters to every required amenity. We were greeted by Shubam, an exceptional host who was polite and approachable. Food was worth every bite. Every requirement of a customer has been tended with love & care; that's what makes this homestay an ideal accommodation.

It was a beautiful experience over there ( Shubham) It was located at a very good place , the entire scenario from the room was quite beautiful, The sight seeing places was near to this homestay, as u can feel the mountains and clouds from the balcony because it was located at the peak of the mountain, you can enjoy the night view and you can see the tea garden as well, the food was very tasty and reasonable ❤, All credit goes to Mr.Shubham and his brother for good hospitality and services provided to costumer❤

Just visited recently with my wife, sis and cousins, we took both the rooms. The rooms were too beautiful and clean. Want to mention the washrooms as well, really clean and spacious. I have stayed way costly homestay and hotels but this was one of the best at such less price. I always prefer homestays over hotels.
Now about the view, the rooms have big windows, have a balcony as well. They have a lawn in front of the rooms. You can view Kanchanjunga and beautiful lush green mountains from there.
Regarding the food, we couldn't have lunch and dinner as were outside throughout the day. We only had breakfast, and it was delicious.
Regarding hospitality, they came to receive us at the main road and helped us with the luggage. Really, had been to other homestays, nobody comes to help with luggage. Whenever called, they provide warm water. My wife cought fever on the last day, they provided a hot kettle for water.
Finally, I want to thank them for such a wonderful experience.

Strongly recommend White house peak homestay. Excellent place to stay in when in Darjeeling. Brothers Shubham and Satyam take good care of the guests. Very clean and beautifully set up place. Beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga mountain and range. Great view.

I never have put so much thought before posting my review. I am either happy or unhappy with a particular place or thing. But my trip to WPH left me with mixed feelings.
First things first: one has to walk a couple of minutes uphill to reach this place. People with poor health condition might find it overwhelming. If you manage to reach the place effortlessly, then I'm sure the hosts will make your trip memorable.

Unlike other trips that I remember for their exotic hotels, lip-smacking food and beautiful sceneries, this trip will be special for me for I booked with WPH. If you think that a business is influenced mainly by money and reviews, then, take my words, these guys will prove you wrong.
As I went with my mom who recently fractured her leg, it became difficult for her to climb, so I had to reshuffle. Shubham helped me a lot to do a last-minute booking to other hotel and even shifted us there, turning my mess into a message for lifetime - touching people’s lives through one's words or deeds is the only noble job.

Perhaps words fail when you have a lot to say. In short, you will never regret booking this place.

Satyam is genious. They all are so friendly and helpful. Food quality is very good. Tower is near, very good wifi. Mountain view from room and balcony is just mind blowing. Only a little bit water supply issue. But overall I should recommend as number 1 homestay in Darjeeling. We wish Satyam will be a big businessman in coming future around the world.

Super service and Shubham was supportive like a super hero who has solution to our each problem. Talking about ambience, you will mesmerised with a view under the lap of peace pagoda. A small piece of improvement to include dustbin, soap and shampoo in the room will help guests with their daily stuffs.

It was excellent in all aspects. The food ,ambience , the host, view from the homestay ,, everything were splendid. Will cherish the moments spent there lifelong. Thank you for being amazing 😊
