A magnificent temple. As soon as we go into the temple, we get an unknown divine feeling. Amazing sculpture is here. I can't express that feeling in words..you have to see it! There is a beautiful lake corner outside the temple. There are many fish in it which are visible to the visitors. It also contains crocodile but does not harm the fish, which is the specialty here. All the facilities we need are available in the surroundings of the temple. Definitely a place to visit with the whole family!

Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple stands as a majestic testament to spirituality and architectural brilliance in the heart of Trivandrum. The temple's intricate Dravidian architecture, adorned with detailed carvings and sculptures, is awe-inspiring.
And the best thing is dress code they have maintained for entering temple.
Just visit early morning or evening .
Prayer timings is around 11.30 am.

My recent visit to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple left me awe-inspired and spiritually rejuvenated. This ancient temple, nestled in the heart of Trivandrum, is a testament to both architectural magnificence and profound spirituality.

Upon entering the temple premises, the grandeur of the architecture immediately commands attention. Intricately carved pillars, adorned with mythological figures and religious motifs, lead the way to the main sanctum. The attention to detail in the craftsmanship is remarkable, showcasing the skill and devotion of the artisans who contributed to its construction.

This temple is of Lord Vishnu. To enter the temple one must get dhoti to wear.
It is a must go place in Kerala.
the pond is untouched by men but can feed the fish in it. Carrying phones or camera inside the temple is not allowed. Also any kind of leather such as belt or wallet are not allowed, neither wearing Western dresses.
We went by our own car so faced alot of issue in parking but we were guided well by Kerala Police.

Beautiful and historic. It is worth the visit even if you are not Hindu. Non Hindus are not allowed inside the temple, but you can go to the museum to the left of it located in the old palace. It is gorgeous and has many priceless artifacts. Definitely go see the outside of the Temple and the museum. You cannot take pictures inside the museum. Only the outside.

Sree Padmanabhaswami temple is a most prestigious temple in Kerala. You can visit here anytime. But the temple is open at some specific times. I added the photo for your reference.

In my experience, it was so memorable. I went here with my friends. My native place is not Trivandrum, so my friends explained everything about this temple.

You should remember to wear dhoti (in the case of men) and sari or traditional dress (in the case of women) . If you forget this , you can buy dhoti from the Shop near the temple, it will cost around 100 rupees. The security doesn't allow smart watches, phones , cameras and bags. You can keep that in the clock room.

The temple is closed from 7.30am to 8.30am.
The special darshan ticket is 500 and buy it before 7am. These will be sold out after 7am. Carry cash. No digital payments accepted inside the temple.
Ladies can wear long skirts (jeans long skirts are also allowed).

I had the opportunity to visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple recently, and the experience was truly mesmerizing. I was amazed to witness the strict dress code and the attention to detail in maintaining the purity and sanctity of the temple.
One of the most striking features of the temple is its intricate and detailed architecture, with its traditional Dravidian style. The impressive Ananthasayanam idol is truly breathtaking. This unique form of Lord Vishnu makes the temple even more revered.
There were very strict dress codes for devotees, like only dhotis for males and white-red saree for females and no photography allowed inside the temple.
Overall, my visit was a memorable and fulfilling experience. I highly recommend a visit to this magnificent temple to all.

Must visit for North Indians and singles. Big corporate houses have forgot to built dharmshala in this town. Friendly devotees. God is living here. Amazingly Coconut you won't get in 1.5 km area. Visit a hospital near fort here near North Gate lane for coconut in Kerela. Free full plate prasadam but you must enter hall before 1:30 else you won't get. In Evening by 8 or 8:30 another slot is there but not full plate.

I went in the evening for Darshana and it took nearly 1hr. But when I see the lord Vishnu idol, i can't explain that feeling in words. Every devotee must visit this vishnu temple. You will feel the positivity.
Still the lord Vishnu is in my Eyes. It's amazing/awesome/mind-blowing/beyond imagination experience.

A divine experience to visit the richest temple in the world. We chose the 6.30 AM darshan on a Sunday and went to the premises at 6 AM. It was so crowded, so we got Rs. 50 special pass which helped us finish the darshan in 1 hour. But we get hardly 5 seconds to see the main deity.

It gets more and more crowded as the day passes, so special darshan pass would save time.

There is strict dress code for men (only dhoti allowed, no shirt) and women (only saree/ half saree allowed; for all other dresses, dhoti has to be worn), so dress appropriately or you can buy/ rent dhoti in the shops in the temple premises.

We should deposit mobile phones, electronics, bag, men’s shirt etc at the cloak room which can be collected after the temple visit.

I, along with my wife, visited padmanabhswany temple on 25 Jan 2024. This temple is approx 10km from city. Temple's architectural wonder will leave you in awe. If one simply wanna visit the temple and stay nearby, then there are many options. Two kinds of darshan were there. One simple with huge line, the one that I did. It took us 50 minutes to reach the main dwar. Other darshan cost one Rs 500, short line off course. There were 4 entrances to reach the temple. I entered from the east gate. I guess that was the main entrance. We took an offering for Lord vishu from outside, which cost us Rs 90. Tusli and Lotus Flower, bud, is offered to sree padmanabhswany. Also, the dress code is there to visit this temple. Dhoti for men and saree/kurti & dhoti for women. The dress code is for children also. You'll find everything in mandir parisar. The cloak room was also there, where you can keep all your belongings. Overall, good management.
