We had a wonderful 3 day/2 night camel safari with our guide Santos in a non-touristic area! We can wholeheartedly recommend booking with Ganesh travels for a wonderful experience riding camels, relaxing in the shade and sleeping under the stars without any tent separating you from the view.

Our safari was well organized and our guide took care as to not produce any waste in the desert. The food was always prepared fresh and tasted great! Everyone had their own camel.

We can recommend our guide Santos in particular, if you want a relaxed and silent experience, as he is not a talker, but is caring well for you and the camels wellbeing, and his cooking skills are awesome! Just ask Sebastien for Santos, if you are looking for this kind of experience, otherwise Sebastien will be happy to assist you in tailoring the experience, just talk to him about your wishes.

Absolutely mesmerizing! Our stay at the desert camp in Jaisalmer was an unforgettable experience. The tents were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the evening entertainment with traditional music and dance under the starry sky was magical. The camel safari at sunset was a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the desert landscape. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this desert camping experience for anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

We had an amazing full day + one night desert tour.
We visited the local desert village and got to know the families living there.
Was also a very nice experience how the camel men cook in the middle of the desert.

The non-touristic safari in Thar Desert with Ganesh Travels was one of the best and memorable I ever had. We did camel safari from village to desert for almost one hour. A fantastic experience. We slept in open desert under the stars and moon. The owner Seb and his team was really excellent in behaviour and hospitality. Once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended.

Went on the camel safari and I couldn’t recommend this more. Sebastian was a fantastic host and the camel men gave us an incredible experience exploring the dessert, cooking us amazing food and singing songs around the fire. My only regret was not doing a longer safari.

This has been unexpectedly one of the best experiences for us on our journey so far. We booked a tour with one overnight stay. Our two guides were so friendly, let us feel safe and cooked the most delicious food. Thank you for sharing your stories and giving us time to just enjoy the beautiful landscape!

Over the trip we had one water bottle to refill at any moment, so it just felt good to be in an eco friendly environment.

Thanks also to the camels, taking us threw the desert in a most chilled way possible.

We accidentally came into Sebastian’s shop because my husband wanted to buy tissues. That was our luck, because we were looking for a non-touristy or Instagram-Safari but to get a more authentic view into desert life. That is exactly how the safari was. We were just a very small group of 3 people, 4 camelmen, 4 camels and Sebastian. One of the camelmen showed us his village and his wife prepared a lovely Chai for us. After the camel ride we had fresh chai and great food in the dunes and ended the night sitting all together at the bonfire and singing and chatting! What a lovely experience I would not want to miss. Thank god my husband had a mild cold, otherwise we would have missed out on Sebastian showing us „his“ desert.

A MUST DO in Jaisalmer!!! An overnight trip to the Thar desert with Ganesh Travels. It was the most amazing experience and we (family of 4 with 2 kids aged 7 and 10) loved it. We were having a rough time on arrival in Jaisalmer with a dodgy hotel and salesman but we happened to walk past Ganesh Travels and we got talking to Sebastien. That was the best thing that happened to us and after our wonderful trip to the desert with Sebastien and his team, we now have incredibly fond memories of Jaisalmer.

Tour itself... the camel guides were kind natured and took care of us so well. The food they cooked up was delicious!!!! We even had some songs by the campfire after dinner which so lovely. Camel riding a treat! Fun times. Could've spent a few more days out there in the desert!!! Such a unique experience and so peaceful...

We booked a sunset Camel Safari with Ganesh Travels, service was top notch. Sebastian took good care of us and we had a ver nice conversation and stories, including some song during the jeep ride. We stopped at Kuldhara on the way to the Safari. He is on more expensive side but well worth it and he accepted card payment.

We went on our two day, one night camel safari beginning of December and had an amazing experience! From all our extensive checking it became apparent they also offer the best prices for both the safari and for rides. Sebestian made efforts to make our experience smooth and enjoyable and was very reliable! The safari is away from the touristic areas and the desert dune you sleep at provides a little cove and other camp sites are not visible, even if still occasionally audible. Could solo ride on request, my camel spooked instant and I needed to jump to safety the first time but second time up was smooth riding. Great adventure! Guides were skilled and friendly. Overall would definitely recommend! We are convinced Ganesh travels is the best option you could choose for the optimal experience.

I just got back from a sunset tour with Ganesh Travels and it was truly fantastic. Sebastian was great, as well as the other camel men, communication was easy, and the scenery was spectacular. We enjoyed a simple but delicious dinner cooked over the fire and laughed and sang songs. As a solo traveler, this type of impromptu comradery is a cherished moment. I would definitely recommend!

The day was really nice and the camel ride was very very beautiful , we were staying in the desert alone , that Will be peaceful and at the night the sky was really nice , many stars is on the top of us and the sunrise and sunset is much beautiful
And that will give us a beautiful experience and the seban chettan was more helpful and the guy was very chill and , he will pickus from the railway station and take-us to the hotel and at the evening he will take us to the desert for camping and the day was very beautiful , thank you seban chettan , ganesh travels❤

The safari was an amazing experience. The guides were really funny and kind. The places where they took us in the desert were beautiful and quite. Nice big dunes. The food delicious (no spicy options) We liked it so much that we stayed one extra night. Being there so many options we are grateful we found Ganesha Travels. Very recommended!

Sebastian welcomed us in a very funny, friendly and open manner. We had a great tour in his wonderful car and with his family. His uncle and nephews were good camel drivers and we had some good food in the desert by the fire.
