To reach this temple, you can reach Achalgarh temple. From there, you can take steps upwards to reach Achalgarh Fort which gives views of Achalgarh Temple and Gurushikhar. There is a sunset point on the top from where you get amazing views and works perfectly for taking photos.

Beware, for the denizens of Achalgad Fort may advise thee to park beyond the market realm, a ploy that veils a potential ruse. Verily, one can convey their vehicle nigh unto the stairwell's entrance, thus sparing thee a trek of 40 minutes. Vigilance, then, is thy shield against such cunning stratagems.

Achalgarh Fort is at a height of 1.5 km from parking zone. One can hair jeep to reach the fort gate. From there you have to take 150 to 200 steps to visit the Achalgarh Jain Temple and Chamunda Mata Temple. At Jain temple there are 14 Idols made of pure gold. Worth visiting this place as the view is awesome. Also temple of Achalaswar Mahadev is there where thumb print of Mahadev is visible.

Best historical place to visit. U will be surprised to see architecture of Achalgarh Fort which is a blend of Rajput and Islamic styles. The fortification includes various structures such as temples, palaces, gates, and walls. The fort's walls and bastions exhibit typical Rajput military architecture, designed for defense against invaders.

Very nice place in mount Abu . 350 steps in mountains many jain temples or Shiv temple or 2 fort or achalgard .1 of bharthari maharaj or 2nd fort of Gopichand maharaj . This place Story also interested.

Nice place but nothing like fort. Just you can enjoy time. Jain mandir is awesome. Not required to hire jeep. Climbing is there. Aged people should avoid this place.
God gifted nature. Do not litter/through rubbish there. Save the nature.

Ford is completely ruined. You will find one Jain temple after climbing up 200 to 250 steps. Very nice temple. One more Chamunda ma temple is there as well after climbing up few more steps after Jain temple. You cannot take your own vehicle, you need to go by Jeep. You will find peace and inner pleasure at Mahadev Shiv temple. Prayer is made to Lord Shiv right toe.

Really Interesting and thrilling experience to visit the Fort made by Maharana Kumbha. Situated around 10 km from Mt. Abu and on the second Highest point after the Gutushikar Point. The entire place is now with the Jain trust and maintain really good by them. The view from the top is awesome and some historic and pilgrim temples are on the peak. Worth visit the place. Best mode is take the help of the local guide who are available at the parking of Achalgarh. They are very helpful and provide brief information of the Historic Place.

Established by Maharana Kumbha of Mewar, this fort has a mesmerizing view of Mount Abu. It sets the perfect picturesque view from the top. Chamunda Mata Temple on the hill top offers a phenomenal view. The temple is so calm and composed that we feel like we are not getting away from the place. It felt amazing to be there. There was a lady who was selling home made ice cream (Matka Kulfi) there, the ice cream tasted awesome. It is a must try, though it is just a small table she has her stall upon but offers a great quality. It is right beside the Brahmakumari Aakashwani Kendra's entry on the hill side. There are monkeys on the top, be careful, they can snatch your belongings. Overall the view was great, it is almost the center hill of Mount Abu range thus offering a perfect view of Guru Shikhar and other surrounding hills. I would like to visit this place over and over again...

Religious place for jain must visit for tracking from caves

Best time to visit is pre noon or post noon. Keep ur stomach light if u wanna climb to the top. Advisable to take a jeep ride which passes through narrow road to the top after which real climb begans cost 300 INR take a guide with u so that he can explain everything about the fort and surroundings and temples ponds and views. Cost of guide INR 200. Jain temple is there as a first milestone and there after you can see other temples of chamunda mata kaalika devi raja gopinath and bhartahari and one radio station FM rajasthan. Guide will explain everything and with no hurry. Fort is small although u may end up spending 2 3 Hrs here if u are interested in history. Shiv mandir situated at ground level and story of mount abu and shiv panditji will tell u very interestingly. Mesmerizing views from the top. Keep ur footwear with good grip sports wear advisable. U may shop at the base where maalkangani oil is available whihc is claimed as original by shopkeeper 300 INR. Others are duplicate at 120. Good place to visit at abu. Not many food stalls one can have food at guru shikhar whihc is adjacent to this place arrd 5 kms. This place cost u 10 INR per person as entry fee for village panchayat tax along with guru shikhar peace park and fort.

Must Must Must Visit place in Mt. Abu! More than 500 years old Maa Chamunda & Maa Kali temples with great Nature view.

Small but beautiful trek.. if u are afraid of heights but just want a good view from top of a mountain with a small trek experience as well... Recommended place.. not too many people there is a jain temple on the way as well..

You need to park your personal vehicle at the parking lot that will cost you 50 bucks. Then you need to take Thar or Gipsy to reach at the starting point of the fort stairs that will cost you 200 bucks ( pickup + drop included ).
And now the most important task will start i.e. climbing stairs ( recommended to carry water bottle + you will also get some stalls in b/w who will sale lemon water at 20-30 bucks )

In the middle of tracking you will get a very old Jain temple ( clicking picture is not allowed but the main temple is really beautiful )

Now after continuing the tracking at the top you will get 2 ways ( at the left you will find Chamunda mata temple and on the right you need to do some extra tracking and there is one cave of kali mata, believe me you will feel the positive vibes here )

This place has a very beautiful scenic view. I recommend to only visit during rain or winter sessions.

There is only one disappointment, there is not a single sign of fort there. It's completely demolished.

At the bottom where you have parked your car there is achaleshwar Mahadev temple, don't forget to visit it.

The temple inside was currently under construction when we visited in March 2023..
Stairs to reach the top but one can visit the temple in middle.
Washroom facility was available.
The view from the top is amazing.... There is an old fort wall. But overall nice experience

Achalgarh fort is very old place and historical places of Rajasthan.
In Rajasthan it's located in mount abu. You can visit it's on weekdays. Best time to visit if you avoid heavy crowd then I prefer Monday to Friday.
If you once reach mount abu then from here you can easily rent car 🚘.
You can go Achalgarh with sharing car or book person car. Sharing car price per person 100-150 & person car 1500-2000 depends upon bargain.

Lovely place. Divine Chamunda and Kalika Mata Gufa (Cave) on top. Also the beautiful Jain temples which offer some lovely views of the surroundings.

Achalgarh fort built by Parmara dynasty which ruled the area in 10th to 13th century. Later renovated by none other than Rana Kumbha in 1452AD.
Now in a dilapidated state. Uphill walk of 20mins, jeeps also go but not advisable.
