I recently had the pleasure of staying at this guest house, and it exceeded all expectations. The host's hospitality was exceptional, making us feel truly welcome. The resort itself was pristine, calm, with good amenities and breathtaking views from the rooftop. I highly recommend Fort Side Guest House and its wonderful host for an unforgettable getaway.

Clean, comfortable, and incredibly hospitable. From the moment we walked in the front door we felt at home. We booked a double room but because they had a larger one available and they knew that we were coming off a long train ride, late at night, we were upgrade at no charge. The manager, Aladin, went above and beyond to help up feel comfortable and at home. Truly a wonderful little place filled with even better staff.

An amazing stay. We stayed here for 4 night, we got a big, comfortable room with a hot shower. The owner is very sweet and is ready to help you with anything you need!

The whole stay is just perfect. If I ever come back to Jaisalmer I will definitely stay again.

Great Stay at a great price. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great facilities like roof top, 24*7 hot water . Owner and staff is super friendly and helpful.

The fort side is a lovely affordable place to stay in Jaisalmer! We shared a family deluxe room & did a safari with Aladin & Nanu. They made our experience so amazing. We slept in the desert, ate delicious food & felt at home. Rooftop is insane!!!

The most fabulous experience we got from this place. We were three in total and booked one room. The host was very warm and welcoming. He helped us with everything to plan our tour and made arrangements for us for an offbeat desert camping. It was a great experience to sleep in middle of the desert. The place was worth the money. It was nice and clean and had a an amazing view. I forgot my shoes at the property and later asked the owner he was so kind he found out and securely kept those. I am delighted with his hospitality of Aladdin who rightly says rub the lamp and the Geenie emerges

Great Place to stay in Jaisalmer. Best in my opinion. Aladdin Bhai is just awesome, he seemed dedicated & inclined to help us plan the trip. Rooms are nice & clean and has got an awesome terrace with Gigantic Fort View.
There is a huge scam of hotels & safari package, going in Jaisalmer people would lure you by saying anything which one would like to hear but will eventually turn up in disappointment. So be cautious and contact your respective host like we did with Aladdin & save your precious trip.

An amazing hostel i and my friends have stayed in.
1. The manager Aladin is super friendly. He provided us an early check in, accommodated us in a common area even when we got there at 5 am.

2. He even called us if i needed any pickup at 5 am. After checking out, he dropped us at a bus stop and bought us all some tea as the evening was very cold.

3. He has a lot of friends in the city. Helped us very much for shopping, jeep safari, Camel safari, and desert stay. He has got many great travel recommendations.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We had stayed here for 3 days (2 N). The rooms were excellent for the prices. The bathroom, clean and linen fresh. The owner Mr. Aladdin is a very helpful and jovial person. We were given early check-in since we had arrived early.
We had gone for the desert safari organised by them. It was awesome. Much recommended to go for it! The camel man Dhanu was also very friendly and and along with his staff at the dune, made sure we had a very good time.
Even after checking-out from the property Mr. Aladdin insisted for us to come back (Plan for the day was to go to Longewala border, hence we checked out early during the day.) after the drive for a Shower and also provided us many very helpful insights for the day's drive.
The property is in close proximity to the Fort gate at the same time away from the hustle of the main roads.

A really amazing place to stay. Kamal and Angel were really lovely and made us feel at home. You can make a reservation with them though Booking.co., Airbnb, HostelWorld or there own website. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It has air condition, warm water in the shower and the bed was big and cozy. The rooftop has one of the best views of the Fort and also is where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Located just outside of the Fort, which is much nicer because you get hassled less. They also offer pick-up and drop-off and dessert tours.

Very nice stay at Fortside Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Agel and Kamal were wonderful hosts. Theye let us feel like at home. They also arranged a great non touristic camel safari which we really enjoyed very much! We ate on the roof top at a beautiful view of the fort!

Had a wonderful experience at hostel fort side. Beautiful spacious rooms and the view from the rooftop is mesmerizing. The owner Aladin ji is very friendly and humble. They have desert camp packages at a very reasonable rate and great hospitality!!!

Fort Side Hostel was amazing!
The hostel is clean, beautiful, and has an amazing rooftop from which you can see the fort.
There is also a restaurant inside with delicious food.
The owner is really friendly and funny, he showed us around and even helped us book a bus.
The Hostel is in a nice location.
You can organize the camel trip directly from there, we did it and it was one of the best experiences I've had so far.

Advocate Alladin is a fantastic host, he genuinely takes time out of his schedule to treat his guests well and make them feel comfortable, and is available 24*7 to assist you with anything.
We arrived in Jaisalmer at 4am and he woke up to direct us and help navigate the taxi driver to Fortside Jaisalmer and not only just recieved us at the hotel but briefed us as to how we could plan our stay for the next few days along with suggestions to good restaurants in the town. He also helped us get a good deal on desert camp stay and the desert safari.

As for the place, it's located right around the Jaisalmer fort, as is most of the town; it's approximately 500 meters from bus stand, but i think a couple kilometres from the railway station. The terrace has a beautiful view of the town and the rooms are very clean and well maintained.

The hostel fort side staff made my staying in jaisalmer to be extra special! Kamal and Angel were very helpful, resourceful and caring. The hostel has a rooftop cafe with an amazing view to the fort and sunset! It is in a good location, very close to train station and city centre. The food is also quite good. I highly reccomend this place.

The staff were really good. The beds are comfortable, the view is nice. It's close to everything. The camel safari they offer is really cheap compared to others, and it's good. They are open and welcoming. Ready to help at any time of the day. Jaisalmer became a very special place because of the staff at Fortside Hostel Jaisalmer.
