Beautiful Haveli with a very nice rooftop view over the fort as well! Staff was very friendly and I could ask any questions about the house and life in Jaisalmer nowadays or in the old times. Would really recommend to visit!

Beautiful haveli with Rajasthani architecture. It is pretty affordable. The entry fee is only 50 Rs.

Note - It may not be accessible to the specially abled people or old age senior members since the stairs are a bit too steep.

This Haveli is really a heritage site and is very close to the jain temple. I was recommended by a local to visit this site while I was on my way to visit other popular haveli's located nearby. Really, worth visiting this site which has three floors and a terrace view, good collections of antique items, well displayed in each of the floors. The entrance fee is also very reasonable and not as expensive as other popular haveli sites nearby

Baa Ri Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort.

just near to jain mandir

Baa ri haveli was once the residential abode of the family of brahmin priests, who were also advisors to the King of Jaisalmer.

The Haveli is 450 years old and centrally located inside the Jaisalmer fort.

The wooden ceilings, carved doors and windows, grand balconies have been preserved in this five-storied stone 'haveli' to give the visitors a glimpse into the history of this architectural and cultural marvel.

Artefacts from all aspects of fort life from cooking to clothing are on display. The terrace gives a panoramic view including the Jain temples, Maharaja's palace, the rest of Jaisalmer fort.

We were also excited like other tourists by the splendor of Jaisalmer Fort and the buildings located within the fort. These buildings are having magnificent architecture and beautifully carved exteriors including the faced. One such Haveli is Baa Ri Haveli now a museum, which is located close to the Jain temple.

This Haveli was built in 15th century by the Vyas family as he was the Royal Priest and an Advisor too. It was the Royal mansion and still it's managed by the descendants. It's a masterpiece and tourists may visit by paying a nominal entry fee. Rajshahi workmanship and art is significant in the form of sophisticated carvings and they maintained the structural values in whole construction. For many years a part of this Haveli was open as Shreenath Palace Hotel now hotel is not operating. It's a multi storey mansion and the original household amenities and belongings are displayed at their original place. It has many priceless antiques and it's an ancient lively heritage quite popular among the tourits.

It needs at least half an hour to have a complete look to the interiors and displayed artefacts. Chandraprabhu Swami Jain temple, Raja Ka Mahal etc are the nearest attractions. A fantastic attraction for history buffs wanderers soulseekers art and architecture lovers etc. A photo session with the original traditional Rajsthani turbans and other items with real feel, remain a major attraction in this Haveli.
