Khandeshwar Shiv Temple

Khandeshwar Shiv Temple 🛕 is an old Shivalaya. Beside the temple a beautiful Lake View and walking Track around it.

The temple is very old and very well maintained. But on festivals and on various occasions, people come and perform different rituals at the lake nearby. No cleanliness is maintained then. It's heartbreaking to see plastic bags clogging the lake. Even though dustins and visarjan vessels are available, people still throw the flowers, etc in the lake. Strict rules should be made and the lake should be maintained.

Update on the cleaning: I visited today again, on New moon. Despite all types of poojas and rituals happening, the temple area was very clean today!!! Very impressed. Kudos

This is a very old temple, probably decades older. It has a lake just outside the temple and a garden beside . As per my knowledge this place was renovated when Ashok chavan was CM of Maharashtra. It's Maintained properly since then. It's peaceful and less crowded. Lightings were added recently by the panvel municipal corporation around the lake.

Best place in crowded Panvel. Evening is best time to visit. You can feel relaxed and blessed. Shiv Temple is also well maintained. Kids can enjoy a lot by watching duck and turtle. There is space for walking also. Greenery is also maintained lot of trees are their you can feel naturally cool and you can feel fresh & relaxed from your daily busy schedule.

This is good place to relax and their is so much tree which provides cool atmosphere during summer season and also good sitting arrangements and garden ,khandeswar lake.this is attractive point of love one

This is a very peaceful place to visit. Should visit after sunset.

There's a certain peacefulness in this spot that I particularly enjoy. The garden is well maintained and a lot of people come here during Mahashivratri and other occasions as well. Although its kind a couple spot, one can still enjoy the beauty of the place and relax.
