Moonstone Hammock, Shelu

One of the best trips! We have been here on our best friend’s bachelorette and it couldn’t have been better. Amazing place to chill, retreat, relax and enjoy at the same time. You have a live band here, Karaoke night, movie night. Kayaking was amazing with the best sunset view!! Service was top notch! Food was amazing specially aglio olio pasta. Everything about this place was beautiful. Must visit. Would like to go here again.

Had a fantastic time at Moonstone Hammock, Shelu. The property is well maintained and the Hunters Nest accommodation lends a comfortable camping experience! The staff is friendly and creates a fun itinerary to spend the day. Food was also served hot and was delicious - a good variety of items in both, buffet and a la carte. Would definitely recommend a 2 day stay here to get away from the city!

The staff at Moonstone Hammock Shelu made our experience absolutely amazing. They were very hospitable, warm and so thoughtful. The food served at each meal was delicious and everyone there went out of their way to ensure that we were taken care of.

Our stay at moonstone was for the Christmas celebrations. There were so many activities to do that time just flew.
The place offer amazing views, tasty food and tons of activities.
We ended up making lots of new friends.

I visited Moonstone hammock at karjat location recently with one of my friend and my experience was exhilarating!! The place is very nice, clean and homely, same goes for the staff. The food tastes delicious and our stay was also very comfortable. The environment and staff gave us a feeling of safety even though we were only two girls on the entire property. I would definitely recommend this place for a good camping experience!!

We stayed here with our 7 year old son for one night and it was soo much fun. The staff is super sweet and they made his bday very special. The place itself had a chill and easy going vibe..we had karaoke in the evening and all the guests joined in. The singing went on for 3.5 hours! The food is also simple and very tasty. They have TONS of activities for kids and adults (including a small pool). If you book in advance, they have ziplining, archery, rifle shooting ,etc. as well. For people staying in Mumbai, Pune..this is a great one night getaway with friends or family! Highly recommend.

Perfect weekend escape in the woods with the family as well as friends.

We went there as a big group of moms and kids.. Our kids had a blast. They didn't ask for ipads or phones all day... there is so much open space for them to run around/explore... they were busy playing and doing activities all day- swimming, kayaking, ziplining, archery, bridge crossing, trampoline. At night, they put up a campfire and our kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows. Rooms are cozy and tastefully done. The manager was at our beck and call. Food was delicious. What more does one need?

Well kept, Hospitality at different level - Sabir and Captain took good care of us. Food was delicious. A good nice weekend getaway. The highlight of the day was the live band - Surjit Banerjee and Prasonjit made the evening lively and it went till 11pm. A mix of old and new songs, the flute transported us to new place and to end all, a bonfire. It helps to slow down which is much needed from hustle and bustle of City. Please do bring mosquito repellent as it's outdoors and you can't fault mosquitoes for that. Will recommend..

We been there for weekend . Woww amazing place. Waking up to the chirping of birds going to the river and sitting quietly. We loved the place. Also in evening there was karaoke and movie. Movie played was Hera Pheri. Overall we loved the place. Only disappointing was frequent power outage. But I believe that was due to unforeseen rainfall and thunderstorms in November. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone

I spent three nights at the moonstone hammock camp ground in Shelu, Karjat and had the time of my life. Captain and Chef Naeem made my trip very special, as they catered to all my needs. The activities were fun, and the food was yummy. I would highly recommend, if you are looking for a chill get away. Also, the cabins are really cool.

Had a lovely time with my wife and son here..the location is perfect with a river flowing bisides the property and trees all over. There is a swimming pool in the center of the property they have a few fun adventure activities like archery and rifle shooting which we all enjoyed and some activities for kids like zip line and rope bridge crossing that were fun. There was kayaking as well but we didn't want to leave the pool so we couldn't do that..the evening activities were great with the host starting up up with the karaoke with some great renditions of all time favorite songs and helping set the mood for the others to jump in and sing their hearts out..movie night was a real thrill the setting and the lighting just make it perfect for an evening with friends and family the food was great and they allow BYOB so it was fun!

Such a beautiful place away from the chaos. It's tranquil and serene. With various activities it gives you an experience of lifetime. The food is scrumptious as well as the staff and service is on point. I highly recommend moonstone hammock for a lovely staycation.

We stayed for 2 nights at Moonstock Hammock at premium tent.
This was our 1st glamping experience and honestly we were unsure about how it would turn out to be, how would our kid react to a place where there is no television and no availability of tech gadgets.
Well let me tell you that this was probably the best holiday experience we had so far!
Being so close to nature, we totally loved the setting, the place, the arrangements.
The place is full of activities for kids so our 5 year old didn't even miss television once!
We had a fantastic time. The buffet food menu were all were lip smacking (be it breakfast, hightea or dinner).
The service was top class, leading from the front, the manager Sabbir was cordial, friendly and was always available whenever we needed. Then there was the captain (Pawan) was was equally supportive.
The chef (Narendra and Naeem) were both top class and served hot and delicious food (both veg and non veg)
The entire staff was well mannered, polite and courteous.
Since the place is a bit isolated, they have a dependable auto rick person-Gopal, who would get anything you want from nearby shops (we ordered hookah , alcohol from him) at a nominal additional cost.
What really stood out for me was the fact that, in general, all hotels tend to be under staffed/drop the quality of food and service during peak times (Christmas/New Year, etc.)
But even this aspect was fantastically managed. We checked in on 24th Dec when all the camps were sold out but that didn't impact the service at all. There was a minor delay in dinner but the taste of food made up for it.
We had the live music which was amazing!
There were so many well managed activities lined up across both the days- painting workshop, live music, karoke night, movie, archery, shooting and zip lining. Not to forget kayaking which was great!
The Wi-Fi connectivity was available and was decent.
We had the best Christmas and would definitely like to visit Moonstone Hammock again and again.

Superb glamping experience. I went in the month of October on a Sunday. Booked the hunter’s nest which was very cozy! I love camping in nature but this experience adds luxury to the same. The food was decent, the staff was super nice and polite.. the location, I wouldn’t say that it’s the best spot in Karjat but it was surrounded by greenery and located along a river where you could go kayaking and the property itself is so pretty that one doesn’t really need a room with a view. The surroundings were so peaceful, I barely spent time inside the room. The arrangements for entertainment and recreation were on point! I would definitely visit again in future. Thanks to Mr. Sabeer and Captain Pawan for their help and hospitality.

Perfect location for weekend gateway with amazing food, scenic view, best hospitality, cozy tents.
One can do bunch of activities such as kayaking, rifle shooting, archery, zip lining, rope climbing etc. live music / karaoke nights on weekends. Best location with mixture of all the best things.

It was such a wonderful experience at Moonstone Hammock. The entire staff at the property were extremely sweet and ready to help. The entire property is extremely surreal and peaceful and we absolutely loved it. The food is superb and damn tasty too!

Experience was totally amazing bcoz we are the only couple there and overall porperty was clean and well maintained. Staff was great they treat like family specially Pawan &Vikas both are good and helpful always smiling with positive vibe. Kayaking was good & pool are clean and maintain , food was awesome . Rooms are totally clean and hygenic . Really enjoy alot and had fun at this place . It was worth it too visit place like this . Keep such good service in future and we are happy that we choose your place to visit . It was great day and memorable place😊 .

A beautiful retreat just few hours away from Pune. Choose it for a quiet escape from the hustle bustle of our regular city life. The place is large with lot of space for walking, has access to kayaking, the staff is polite and supportive.
