Sohana Eco Retreat - Karjat

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms and washrooms were clean and hygienic and everything was spot on.

The place is located in a very quiet area and the network is spotty which was perfect for the getaway we wanted. However there is access to WiFi so we were not completely off the grid.

The most important part of a homestay is food and the cook was simply amazing. She was kind and more than eager to serve us, and the homemade food we ate left us wanting more. We had a preset menu to chose from during lunch, tea, dinner and breakfast. The menu was fixed before we arrived at the stay.

This place is a must visit if you want some peaceful and quiet time with friends and/or family, without network and the city life demanding your attention.

Had a lovely stay at Sohana Eco Retreat. It was very clean, spacious and well maintained.

Located in a peaceful forest-area, very near the Pej river.

A beautiful property , tastefully done , set amidst lush orchards , it gives you the feeling of being one with nature . The river besides the property is the icing on the cake .
The host was very responsive and made sure to make our stay as comfortable as she could .The care takers were
extremely sweet & helpful {a special mention for the delicious food by Jaywanta Tai } . All in all it turned out to be a memorable stay for the entire family .

Have visited Sohana Retreat many times. Just feel very comfortable being there.
Gives the friends and family vibe. Can spend the whole day on the verandah.

Very clean and peaceful place. Better if your stay is for multiple days. Just the road to reach here is not in good condition. Mobile network was not available in some parts of the property. When we were there, the wifi was also not working. Not much of an issue for us though. Kitchen is also well equipped.

Beautiful place. Secluded and private. Very kind caretaker and a pretty good chef. All in all was a good weekend getaway.
On the downside no network coverage and the wifi was also patchy. Well in a way an upside as well!!
