It's good. And now in the time of COVID they are also giving discount for OPD because when I gone with my mom they charge Rs20 each for visiting both GP & Surgeon. Another thing is that no COVID ward is there till now so I think it will be safe for all of us who are going to visit for any other illness or diseases.

A multi-speciality hospital with all modern facilities. Being a medical college supervision from junior doctors and nurses are done round the clock. Polite staffs are always there to help you. Several high profile doctors do visit there. Generally every government and non-government health insurances are entitled here for there deem benefits. Emergency section is in quite state of the art state. A good infrastructure is prevailing there.

Good physical infrastructure in a large campus. Some very well known doctors are associated with it, like Dr Kunal Sarkar, cardiologist, Dr Hardik Rajyaguru, neuro surgeon etc.

Wards, corridors, waiting area etc are spacious and airy, compared to other private hospitals in Durgapur or Kolkata, but I don't know why, the upkeep / maintenance seems to be lacking good supervision or investment. Another downside is the location - a bit far away from the city, although there is a bus service. From the Malandighi side, the hospital is 7 kms away from the main road.

While the college / hospital campus have ATM, pharmacy, canteen etc, once you come outside, there is nothing. Where will the relatives of patients stay at night ? In case of Mission and Health World hospitals there are no dearth of hotels and lodges in the vicinity.

All said, this hospital has a medical college attached to it, so it will always attract good doctors, I guess. So, with good upkeep and professional management, the hospital can attract lot of patients.

I'd like to share my own experience. I was admitted under Dr Navneet Kumar (neurosurgeon), he is indeed the best doctor so far. The nurse and other staff are also very helpful and friendly. Just one drawback is they don't have enough housekeeping staff or helping staff. Patients with difficulty to go to bathroom have to wait for a long time.

Good hospital and cost of treatment is less compared to other hospitals. better than any other hospital in durgapur.I admit my daughter for 3 days and she recovered well from fever.Staff is good and doctors are well behaved.Swastha sathi card widely accepted which is very good.But you have to produce original card not in mobile.
