Hemareddy Mallamma Temple, is also a popular shrine to visit in Srisailam. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has been named after an ardent devotee, Mallamma, who devoted herself completely to worship Sri Saila Mallikarjuna Swamy.

This temple depicts the greatness of this devotee and the determination with which she has spent her entire in complete devotion.

Very calm and Historic place where a Shiv Bhakt dedicates her life to Lord shiva. Seeing her dedication lord Shiva appears to her. From that day it is said tears of happiness keeps rolling from her eyes and the same can be seen even today.

There is a Goshala too. The temple is located in a very beautiful place very calm and serene.

Mallamma Kanneru Temple is at back side of the Sri Bramarambha Mallakarjuna Swamy Temple. Beautiful place. The story of Mallamma date backs to 14 the century. Mallama sits in deep penance praying for lord shiva. Pleased with her lord shiva appears in front of her seeing him tears of happiness roll down her eyes. Since then, tears of happiness keep rolling out even today hence the name mallama kaneeru. Next to her idol you can see lord Shiva's idol immersed in water which are her tears. Kaneeru in telugu means tears. When you come out of this temple and go towards your left you can also see the place where she did meditate for lord Shiva. It's very calm and peaceful within and around the temple. Very holistic and powerful place. Parking here is free. Very well maintained. Parvathudu, chandravati, vasumathi, akkamahadevi, sidhi ramappa, kummari kesappa and Chatrapathi Sivaji are other famous devotees to lord Siva related to this place.

This place is worship the Hemareddy Mallamma everyday. In the temple inbetween two small rocks water come it consider as Mallammana Kanneeru ( Mallamma Happy tears). 12th century Mallamma came with her husband stayed in this place and worship Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy. Today also we can see her daily using Valakallu and Bisakallu ( which is to grind the grains) at near the temple.

Inside temple there is small hut there in a matka you can still hear the mallamma stearing the "chakka".

Beautiful place. But according to stala puranam from one of her eyes water come out as she weeping. But at present there is nothing like that but the water accumulated as a very small pond in garbha gudi. Temple can reach by 2 roads. At present one road is under expansion and clay road. Another road is good which is from Sivaji santhi stoopham.

A sacred place where Mallamma did his penance for Shiva. When Shiva gave Darshan to Mallamma, her tears of Joy were uncontrollable. Till today the water comes there and was given as theertha to the devotees.
