Best place to get a shade and board the cab to wherever u wanna go. Its very hot here so the taxi stand is 3 levels... Alot of room for people and taxis... Food vendors crowd the place so u can also grab a hot bite. Ticket counters show beautiful pictures of all the nearby places tourist attractions. Seats built in the bulding walls for everyone to rest while their ride arrives. Truly a well planned taxi stand.

Jorthangs main transport hub easy accessible reliable but be carefully of darjeeling vehicles they may raise the transport fair by hiding the service vehicle by saying there's no vehicles available but they have anyhow arranged one but the price may be little high, from 250/300or350 so be carefull

It's a place from where you can get a taxi for west and south Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Siliguri
