The reptile house is very well maintained...we can also see so many types of snakes... Especially anacondas... Pythons... Cobras... And also Tortoises... And also so many other reptiles will there.. And also they will kept all these in glass tanks...with afford full safety..Very enjoyable place... Especially for childrens... They will wonderfully understand all about this...A tourist spot... A brief explanation and all details about the species are there...

The reptile house is well maintained and have a good ambience and it consists almost all the varieties of reptiles in India and the biggest snake Anaconda found in Amazon forest is also here and different varieties of tortoise is also here

It is inside the trivandrum zoo. As the name indicates we could see many reptiles. Turtles, Snakes, Crocodiles, Alligator are here. The biggest snake Anakonda is here. King cobra and other venomous and non venomous snakes are here. It is a different experience to watch those reptiles inside a glass.

A great experience to see living snakes and reptiles and know more facts about them. It houses even Anaconda snakes.

This is a dedicated enclosure for reptiles situated inside the zoo. Verity of different snakes are hosted inside glass cages. Highlights are Anacondas, cobra, pythons etc. Photography is not allowed inside. You don't need to buy special tickets than normal zoo entry.

The reptile house is just awesome.... Its the best part of the trivandrum zoo... It has lots of different snakes... N the best one is the anaconda.... The green anaconda looks amazing.... It also contains the turtles, tortoises. Must visit

You can enjoy watching variety of snake species here. It is worth watching with your family members. Nicely decorated. Cleanliness well maintained by staff. Must visit attraction of Trivandrum Zoo.

This place is maintained well. However, photography is not allowed inside the premises and I'm assuming that the reason is that reptiles may have a sudden reflex action when exposed to camera flashes. Or maybe, the reason is something else.

Well maintained... reptile house is inside Zoo.. you can see different varieties of snake.. tortoise... Not allowed to take photos.. even there is anaconda...

The updated reptile house is much better than the old one with new species of reptiles including the green anaconda. It would be worth visiting the reptile house to see them up close. If you visit the Zoo, you must visit the reptile house.

Best palce to spent time

Reptile House is the best attraction in Thiruvananthapuram zoo. It houses both poisonous and non-poisonous snakes and other reptiles. Green Anacondas are the favorites. You can see King Cobra, Indian Cobra, Tree snake, Udumbu (Monitor lizard), Indian star tortoise and other turutles like Chooral aama.

Remember. Mobile Photography is not allowed inside Reptile House.

Kerala is rich in reptile diversity. The total species of reptiles reported in Kerala is one hundred eighty seven. About one hundred thirty of these are restricted to the rain forests. They included lizards, snakes and turtles. Non-marine reptile species reported from Kerala is one hundred sixty nine, of which fifty nine are endemic to Western Ghats and nine are endemic to Kerala. The species categorised as endangered are the Indian rock python, the mugger or marsh crocodile, Travancore cat snake, Black striped bronze back, Palni uropelt, Red spotted uropelt, Red bellied uropelt, Sholakal palli, Olive ridley turtle, Hauksbill turtle, the monitor lizard, Bibron's coral snake, striped small headed snake, Travancore kukri snake, Orange spotted uropelt, Black bellied uropelt, Dark-brown lizard, Wynaad palli, Green turtle and Leather back turtle.
