Kala Bharati is an art theater where classical dance n music events and performances happens generally and it conducts competitions, commemorates occasions and tributes to legends in various art forms.
It's a trust based n service based theater. It invents and witnesses many young n eminent talents..

it is one of the best cultural functional hall, ambiance is nice and located at maddilapalem. one of the best visting place for all cutural activities in vizag.

Called also " Visakha Music and Dance Academy" (VMDA). Located centrally at "Pithaputam Colony" near Maddilapalem area, Visakhapatnam.

Lovely Place for Cultural Events.

Kala Bharati auditorium is a very famous place in Visakhapatnam city for years. It was opened in 1991, with the seating capacity of 800-900.

Located at Pithapuram colony near to Maddilapalem junction, a few steps away from National Highway and easy to access with good transportation facility. As it was built in early 1990s, the parking problem is the first issue we face here. Auditorium needs a few renovations to compete with other auditoriums at present.

But in one word we can say it is a "legendary" with memorable events and has become a great platform to many people to prove their talents and still continuing its charm with no doubt.

Best venue for arts and cultural festivals in vizag. Place is clean and hygiene. Theatre acoustics good. Seating chairs are renovated. Air conditioning is also ok.
