Earlier I wrote review on this. It's worth visiting this place especially with kids. Opposite to submarine there is war plane. You can take tickets for both the places at submarine ticket counter. Kids will enjoy a lot.

Beautiful! It's really worth a look. It truly lets one understand how our Sailors spent their days in these minuscule spaces to protect us from our adversaries.
The other is the Sea Harrier Museum which again allows one to see the famous Sea Harrier, Vertical Take Off / Landing Aircraft at close quarters.
It's definitely a must visit place if one is in Vishakapatnam.

The perfect experience I gathered at only Rs 50. A submarine which I saw mostly in movies, I touched and lived with it. People said that it was used during the Pak- India 1971 war and it made us proud by kicking out Pak in a sea fight. One should visit and feel the same joys which are available till today. Kudos to the government who made it available for the general people and Thanks a lot.

Good to be there last week. One of the oldest submarines. Must visit. Could not take pictures inside because they're not allowing but a good experience.

It’s just amazing and a must if you are in Vizag. It’s open from 2:00 - 8:00 and one needs to plan in advance since there is a long queue to go inside the museum. It can take Upto 40-50 min waiting time on weekends. If you go around 3:00-4:00 waiting time will be a bit less.
There are 3 museums, Submarine, Sea Harrier, Aircraft Museum. You can buy an integrated ticket for all 3 if you want. Aircraft Museum is also very good and you can combine Submarine and Aircraft Museum. There is not much waiting time at aircraft museum.

Exploring this engineering wonder was amazing. You can truly appreciate its complexity when you go inside.

Inside, you'll find life-sized statues of the crew, showing their daily routines, rooms, and offices. It was a great opportunity to learn about the hard work of our Bharat Navy.

Submarine on Land. One can see the inner details of submarines and experience the life of the captain and his crew. Tickets are very cheap, and can be integrated with the Aircraft Museum. Need to allow cameras for recording or taking pictures in the Submarine

Buy a ticket that's combo for the three museums and save money. The submarine is really good with ac inside. The museums as well are very neatly maintained.

This is for the people who want to experience the submarine and interested in knowing about the defence establishment of the country. A submarine used years back by our naval command gives a glimpse of the mechanism, functioning and internal appearance.

It's a beautiful place that one can explore near R.K. Beach, Vishakhapatnam
Especially if you're an enthusiast of Indian Defence Forces and Naval Engineering Knowledge you should definitely give it a visit.

It is worth visiting... We witnessed the 1970s machinery spaces and got to know that previously retired Indian Navy personnel used to brief visitors about the INS KURSURA Submarine and its historic contribution in the Indo-Pak war.

INS Kurusura served the Indian Navy for 31 years and then it was decommissioned and turned into a museum in 2001. With a length of 91.3 meters and breadth of 8 meters

An important place in Vizag for family and friends to visit kursura. It is an educational place for children

I went inside and tried to feel that time how a working officer's life is spent inside a submarine.

It was a little bit crowded when I have visited this place.. Very esay to go and easily accessible to anyone else... Really want to thank government of AP for such a great thought of making a live submarine Kursura to Kursura Submarine museum and also for it's proper downstream maintenance... Still it has the live smell of machine, oil etc....
