Nirrvaan Homestay

Nirrvaan Homestay is a beautiful little oasis in Varkala, it's no more than 5 minutes on foot from the helipad, but set far enough back that the only sounds you hear are the birds. The rooms are great, with a very comfortable bed and they are very clean. Our host was really accommodating and friendly too.

We stayed in Nirrvaan Homestay during our trip in Kerala and Goa. This stay might've been the best in our trip. The rooms are excelent, part of a beautiful house that is super well cared by its owner. The owner is super nice and thoughtful, and we had the chance of undertanding better the cultural background of the place we were in just by talking with her. The food at breakfast is delicious and the location (very close to the beach) is perfect and restaurants of the north cliff.

Would love to come back!

Clean, quiet, communicative and respectful are the four adjectives I will use to describe my experience at this wonderful place which is the most apt to stay at one of the emerging tourist spots in India. The place is made by the people staying in it and kudos to our host to keep the vibe so comfortable and cosy that we felt totally at home :) The aesthetics, cleanliness and the hospitality deserves all the superlatives. Definitely recommended for all the tourists travelling solo or with family to experience this as a part of the their trip and fall in love with the city. Needless to say, I am definitely coming back!!

We spent 4 nights in Nirrvaan Homestay during our varkala visit in Kerala. Homestay is awesome, calm, peaceful, clean, specious and comfortable, just 1 minutes walk to the beach. Food was delicious and had Kerala authentic food. Felt like home itself. Owner aunt and uncle were very welcoming and helpful towards guests. Haven’t faced any problems during our visit. Must try if anyone visiting varkala.

Staying at Nirrvaan was a pleasant experience. In spite of being only around 200 meters from the cliff and all the din, Nirrvaan offers the peace and quiet the name suggests. Parking is available on the property. The rooms are absolutely well maintained, thoroughly clean and comfortable. The decor of the room exudes a very personal touch. The furniture and every other detail in the room has been thoroughly thought through and put together with the thought of providing people with a comfortable stay. Wifi, water heater, there's everything you need. The complimentary breakfast is a true Kerala spread and provides the visitors a glimpse of the taste of authentic Kerala cuisine. The entire experience is strung together and accentuated by the courteous, friendly and well meaning hostess who is always ready to help you with a smile.

Rekha ji is so hospitable, also she easily accommodated any requests we had. Thank you for going above and beyond to help and guide us during our stay.

We planned to travel to varkala for new year with our kid and we wanted a very safe place for a stay near cliff.And we found nirvaan homestay from online and the reviews were amazing.
So as the reviews,we had a pleasant stay at nirvaan. Rooms were very clean and well maintained.The host rekha mam was so friendly and the environment was so amazing and cool. Especially the plants and paintings were just amazing.
Varkala beach,black sand beach and north cliff with amazing cafes and shopping areas are just walking distance from homestay

As my star rating suggests, this was the perfect space to stay. 5 minutes walk from the north cliff helipad area, nirvaan has easy access to the beach, restuarants and public transport ( auto stand is near the helipad)
Rekha ma'am is an amazing host with interesting anecdotes and a smile for her guests.
The rooms are neat and clean and decorated in a tasteful manner. The wifi works well for all staycation guests.
The breakfast, lunch and dinner is scrumptious kerala food. Homemade and just what the soul craves after too much restuarant food.
The plants and trees are just the cherry on the already beautiful pie.

Really a place to visit stay and come back.
Beside the lovely environment, the daily food proposition is just a unique experience .

I stayed with my family last week and we had a wonderful experience here at Nirrvaan. The rooms are clean, well maintained and decorated. The stay has all amenities like wifi, hot water, car parking, bathing essentials etc. It’s just few mins walkable from the cliff and the beach. Great reception, excellent hospitality and meeting the guest’s needs all the time. Authentic kerala dishes are provided as breakfast. Lunch and dinner will be provided on request. The food was excellent in taste. Nirrvaan is a hidden gem in varkala! Thank you Rekha maam and her team for hosting us!

This property is well deservedly Diamond rated. Rooms, bath, and common areas are spotlessly clean, dust-free, and well appointed, with small details such as dental kit taken care of. Food was authentic Kerala cuisine served by our host Rekha. Must mention the well-manicured garden and the ample indoor plants which blended well with the Kerala-style indoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

Best home stay in Varkala. They are so lovable, taken care very well.. must stay place .. especially for cheychi breakfast so authentic kerala style.. adiipoliii ❤❤❤

I underestimated it before visiting the homestay, till the end moment of booking I tried to book a few resorts at South cliff but due to weekend rush all were said to be sold out... This time I wished to visit the south Cliff but after staying here at the Nirrvaan Homestay I feel that sometimes it's good when your plans don't work out ..... I had two great days at this beautiful and peaceful Homestay. It's just walking distance from the north cliff cafes and beautiful lanes ... Jahan Raunak lagti hai har shaam. I used to visit Little Tibet cafe each time I went there .... It's just 3 minutes walk from the homestay.
The rooms are built artistically, there are idols, paintings kept in the room and even the balcony has beautiful painting ... I loved the wooden stairs too.

We feel safe and peaceful here, it's a quiet place and the rooms are extremely cozy. You get a good sound sleep. AC fan all in good condition. Everything is maintained so well. Bathrooms are clean and appliances are of good quality. For me bathroom matters a lot. It has to be good. There was both hot and cold waters in the shower.

You get breakfast here and water also in plenty and that too of good quality. I felt it was mineral water. There is greenary everywhere and all neat and clean inside and outside.
The breakfast is made using authentic spices, the chef there is very polite too. And the homestay owner is a very highly qualified humble lady. Down to earth person. Talking to her was inspiring.
The atmospheric there is divine.

We had a best homestay experience at Nirrvaan and the host was very sweet. She has taken very good care of us. Rooms and restrooms are of international standards. Bed was so cozy and comfort. Numerous amount of photographs, paintings, miniature statues and greeneries made the homestay more beautiful. Saved the best for the last, complimentary breakfasts from the Host tasted yummmmmmmmmy and they were finger licking good. Thanks for hosting us, Rekha mam.

When we landed at Vakala helipad and asked to walk to the homestay through a narrow passage, I thought I have taken a wrong call. But as soon as we entered the homestay I could'nt believe my eyes, totally a different scene, a perfect atmosphere . The porch was full of indoor plants and garden filled with diff varieties of flowering plants and other trees. Felt a peaceful, serene atmosphere and excellent ambience. Silence everywhere but for chirping of birds. We were led to our rooms which was pretty neat, cosy with nice touch , toilets well maintained and clean, linen / towels/ bedspread/ bedsheet - neat and fresh, most important free wifi at the location. Indoor plants, artefacts, photo frames neatly displayed and Buddha statues everywhere inside the house - totally a different feel - relaxing, calm, peaceful. Place is very silent. Host Rekha madam is very patient, kind, good natured and very helpful. Excellent hospitality and yummy authentic Kerala b'fast. Staff are also well mannered and helpful. Place very close to beach and shopping. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. This is my first homestay and the best homestay. If in Varkala, I recommend to stay in Nirrvaan. Big thums up to the host for making our stay, truly memorable and enjoyable. Waiting to visit again soon 🙏🙏

I came to Varkala with my family. We stayed there for two days. We enjoyed the hospitality shown by Mrs. Rekha, the host madam, the ambience with green plants, idols and photographs and silent & calm environment. Complimentary breakfast was so nice. Nirrvaan homestay is very near to North cliff
- walkable distance. Rooms, bathrooms are very near and tidy. Maintenance and cleaning are superb. On the whole problem less enjoyment. Thank you Rekha mam. I'll recommend to my friends and relatives to stay in Nirvaan homestay.

Rekha’s place is amazing homestay. Beautiful rooms, tasty breakfast and vicinity to the varkala beach/cliff make it the best place to stay, at that cost.
