Central Gleneagles Heritage Resort-The Mall Road Darjeeling

Lovely location, just ahead of the crowds and a short walk from the Mall. Beautiful valley views from the windows, and charming rooms. We had an amazing stay!

Great location. Nice mountain views on clear days.What I missed out on was a garden sit out....had seen picture of that on google.v

This was my first stay in this hotel and I was really happy the staffs of this hotel is really nice and mostly Mr. Pragyan Subba was really nice guy and very helpful… the food was ok ok types and rooms are nice mostly the view ❤❤

I stayed here with family in February 2023 and am really touched by the experience. The location is perfect as it is quite and serene but near the mall. The king club room is luxurious but filled with old and antique furniture and kind of gives a royal feeling. The staff were sweet and welcoming and special mention must be made of Vivek who had catered to all our needs.
Perfect for a romantic or family vacation.

This hotel and it's view, it is just breathtaking. We got the room with the private terrace and i am again coming back to this place. It was a peaceful and amazing stay with the Central Gleneagles. A person will be sent by the hotel to take your luggage from Banu Bhawan. And you can then walk up to the mall road and through the new Mahakal market. By the end of the market, you will reach the hotel. I would highly recommend this place , if you want a peaceful stay among the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling.

Hi, it has been an amazing experience staying at this hotel. We were taken aback by the mesmerizing view from our room. All rooms are having wonderful view. If you are planning to visit Darjeeling and want a peaceful yet nearby mall then this is the best place to stay. Staff behavior was extremely cordial. Really loved staying here...

Central Gleneagles Heritage is an awesome hotel. Staffs are very caring and they respect human emotions and sentiments. This hotel is the ultimate place to stay in Darjeeling. Located on the quiet side of the Mall road. It's truly peaceful surrounded by greenery all around with a well maintained garden.
Rooms are well done up, all having direct valley and mountain view , nothing comes in between

An amazing stay in this beautiful hotel.
The rooftop is the best part of this hotel. Amazing service provided. They serve really delicious breakfast. The rooftop gives the view of the Kanchenjunga. At a walking distance of 4-5 mins from Mall aroad, this hotel is away from the bustling Mall and situated in a peaceful place. The walk to the Mall, viewing the mountains and greenery is just perfect

Awesome place. Nice heritage hotel. You can feel yourself as king for one day if you stay there. I recommend this place for all .

Ms Shree was just superb. All were extremely caring and well behaved. Food was fantastic. It was very warm on a cold night. Overall unforgettable service. Very cosy and peaceful. It was home away home. Shall definitely come again.

Review of my stay at room 106 from Feb12 - Feb 14 2020.

1. Stay in Mall but away from hustle and bustle of the town.
2. Excellent view from the hotel room and mesmerizing sunrise from straight out of the room.
3. Great variety in the Buffet Menu including Noodles, Chole Bhature ,Bread Butter/Jam, Vegetable Stew, Aloo Paratha, Boiled Egg/Omlette, Juice/Tea/Coffee etc.
4. Prompt service including porter to carry your luggage through the mall.
5. Room heaters/electric Blankets to keep you warm through out the chilling nights.
6. Garden with valley view and seating space.

Absolute value for money! What else will you ever need?

This hotel is excellent place for a holiday, because it's located on the quieter side of the Mall road.
It's surrounded by mountain view, great walking zone around. Rooms are spacious and well done up.

The location of the hotel is awesome. It is just around 2-3 minutes walking from the Mall Road which is the major attraction of Darjeeling. The club rooms are big and spacious. The club room which I had stayed had ann attached terrace with a swing which made my stay even more special. The service is impeccable.. The hotel is very clean. The only place which was a little disappointing is that the food prices are exorbitantly high. The buffet breakfast which was served as complimentary could also have some more variations.Overall my stay was memorable and extremely comfortable.

Amazing hotel, couldn't believe my eyes when I entered. Amazing breath taking view. If one stays here would love to come to Darjeeling every year.

It's a very beautiful hotel. The behaviour of staffs of this hotel is pretty good. Very homely atmosphere in this hotel. I would suggest you to stay in room no. 101 or 104..these two rooms are very beautiful..You can have partial view of Mount Kanchanjungha from room no. 101..If you will look at left side through the window then you will have the view of mount Kanchanjungha..but from this hotel's garden area you will have a beautiful view of mount kanchanjungha..they have complementary breakfast which is delicious..room 104 is a very beautiful heritage room..it has fireplace..Me and my wife stayed in room no. 101 for first two days and we stayed in room no. 104 for last two days..both rooms are great..their lunch and dinner foods are also great..Among their staffs we have met Ismail,Sugam,Pranim and their chef Gautam,the manager and and the lady who cleans the rooms, they are all very helpful..I will request you to order scambled egg in complimentary breakfast..you will like the way they will serve you the scrambled egg..all staffs are very co-operative and humble..they have a pet dog named Rocky..he is very cute and ofcourse he won't bite..he is very friendly..when we visit darjeeling again we will stay in this hotel for sure..we won't choose any other hotel for sure.

The Gleneagles Heritage hotel lives upto its name. Located suitably nearby Darjeeling mall (5 min walking distance) and Mahakal temple (5 min walking diatance). The property location is a big advantage. The club room has large , cozy, comfortable interiors. The view from the room is amazing and very soothing especially in the early morning hours. The staff are very courteous. A special mention about the food. The breakfast(Indian) is high quality and very delicious with numerous options to choose from (buffet spread).
The room has necessary essential amenities. The hotel has good amount of landscaping with floral growth. Overall a great staying experience and highly recommended considering the food and location.
