Central Park Namchi

Namchi is a beautiful place located in the Indian state of Sikkim. The Central Park in Namchi is a place of tourist attraction with plants and water fountain in the middle. The park is a great place for a stroll and evening walk. There is a small market around the central park. On a clear day one can see the Kanchenjunga peak from there.

We had wonderful time in the central park area, went several cafes in the area and also did lots of shopping.

Do visit this place if you are in Namchi.

Clean, not too crowded, all types of shops around it.. Great place to chill 😀😉

Visited Central park at night, though I have not got the best atmosphere here but surely i can tell that it is similar to gangtok's mall.

Weather is pleasant in the day time as of November. Night may be little Cold around 10 degree... you may take little wine at night time and feel the pleasure sitting under tree on banch at evening time. Wine shop is available. Momo is good. Also a plate of 2 Singra with nice Chatni is good snakes in the restaurant.

Siliguri to Namchi Shared Taxi is available from around 6 am but you have to wait till shared taxi is full up to 9 am. Shared taxi per seat rent is 300/250. They take 4 passengers in a seat.. little congested. You can take 2 seat for comfortable journey. Full taxi rent between 3000 to 4000.

Great place. People are very good, trendy crowd, liberal. They do not litter garbage and the place is maintained very well. Food points and branded stuff available around. Overall, a great experience.

A small bustling & stylish town in the West Sikkim

The ambience of this place is beyond words. You see children playing freely, cute fluffy dogs strolling around, no hustle-bustle of the city and a chilly climate. PERFECT!

Good Market for almost all stuff however one must know to bargain very well!
