Camping in Rishikesh (Camp Bagheera)

Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was so-good. Staff come to help us for luggage, Camp was nice, Pool and garden was very nice for sitting and playing Children. Food was soo delicious We hope to revisit sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.

Great location, easy to reach. Camps are comfortable and clean with individual toilets and baths attached to the individual camps. Campsite has a pool and Natural waterfall, the Beach and the River is 5 minutes walking distance from the camp. Food is homely, freshly cooked and tasty. The Manager Mr. Yogesh and all his staff are very courteous and helpful. Me and my family had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience at the camp. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful resort with great hospitality. The facilities are really good and the staff members are very courteous. They make your stay worth remembering. The price is so affordable that this is amognst the best value for money resort that you can ever find. Highly recommended for anyone who is after a very relaxing break or for someone who is keen for a theme/activity based break. Check it out !

It was truly a mesmerizing experience to stay in Bagheera River Retreat located in the serene and beautiful environment with enthralling trails, nature walks and a wonderful rural experience. Me and my wife alongwith our family friends stayed at the resort for a much needed break to unwind far from the city traffic, noise and pollution. Believe me, it was an overwhelming and one of its kind, experience. Comfortable cottages, delectable food and very friendly and courteous staff, you could not ask for more.
The live music, bonfire, swimming pool overlooking the river ganges on one side and beautiful mountains with water falls on the other side, was a treat to the eyes.
All in all, it’s a great place to be and definitely worth a second visit. Highly recommended.

Fabulous! We had a great time at Bagheera River Retreat, Enjoyed the river and other activities at the camp! Spending night in the tent was a thrill. Love the experience. The Trekking was adventurous and spending time next to the Waterfall was so relieving. Rafting was a thriller but the best part of the trip was Safari in Rajaji National Park. We are surely coming back here again!

Situated at a beautiful location with all you can expect from a luxury camping site. Stunning Ganges beach is just about 200 meters and these guys are also blessed with natural waterfall a few steps away.
A highly professional team takes care of you right from your arrival and ensures you have a great time all through the stay! And did I mention, the food is great too?!!

My experience was great. A good place to relax with your family and friends. You have to walk a very steep steps to reach here. One day and one night charge is usually 1400rs per person. But you can always bargain, which includes lunch evening snacks dinner and next day breakfast. Check out time is 1100hrs. You can bring your drinks etc.
They provide common bonfire in the evening too.
Good facilities of washroom and shower in ur camps. Must try

Place is beautiful. Tents are clean. washrooms are bigger and well maintained. Staff is humble and hard working. Very caring and makes sure they are at your service at all times. Very happy place and cost effective. It's located next to the river. And rafting facilities available. Must go to Bagheera if in hrishikesh.

after a long time I want to to spend my time in the nature so all of sudden we planned and we just looked out for this place bagheera and we decided to go there although you can find a lot of resort over the river Ganga bank but this place has my heart because there is a lot of white sand and crystal clear green Ganga water so what else you need??

you need to walk down that bridge and after that there are three terms including camp vna camp bageera and camp or oslo and camp Aqua.

firstly I like the place camp bageera where we decided and we occupied a camp for a day had everything including cooler electricity and the washroom attached to your camp individually.

If I talk about food it is like home made and the buffet system was there.

Also they have a swimming pool

Good for families ,friends and also for couple.
the manager was super amazing he is very humble and every helper is very amazing in behaviour .

a separate restaurant or the dining area is provided in the camp and the location of this camp is very good because you will get to see the sunrise and sunset in front of your eyes and you are able to see the valley while sitting in front of your camp. In activity we did the tracking and we saw the sunrise over there from this place you are able to see three curves of river Ganga.

Beautifully decor and nice weather...

walking down from the camp you can also visit the beach and that is a must watch because you can spend like hours there the beach is having white sand and you will literally feel like you are in like in Maldives the clearwater and the white sands will make you feel like paradise.

this place is also captured by the photographers and the best thing is like I saw three or four Pre wedding shoots over there.

overall I would like to give the best I could I really enjoyed my trip ,from Delhi it will take around 7 hours and you will be there.

The camp location is super , someone can feel the real nature...

Mesmerizing vanue with unique structures built on sloppy mountain. Enough space in between two camps. Pool looks great under the star laden sky. The 100 series camps are quite spacious and can accommodate up to 6 persons. Ideal time for bird watchers is March to May.

Our stay there was pleasure , the staff was calm and very high on care and service , the manager there was professional and charming. The rooms are clean and worth the price. The room are big and the hotel locate in the right place if you want a view to the river. Thanx

So Choose this one, They have their car parking but the only drawback is you need to go up a little for camp.

Its awesome and very natural. Not even once i felt that the place is commercialized. The staff is helpful and i literally found what i was looking for; peace. It’s close to nature and good if you guys are looking for peace after hectic office schedule.

Wanna camp in the natures lap? Your question has been answered. This is one of a kind resort which offers a very near-nature and near-wild experience. I and my friends had a great time there. The staff is very cordial and the food is just lip-smacking. Go for it and get your monies worth.

It was indeed a memorable stay for us here. Beautiful lication, very close to nature , river view, private waterfall , infinity pool and we'll apoappoin tents.

Another plus is their service , staff and food ... delicious and simple food and staff that goes extra mile to make stay even more comfortable.

If u are a true nature lover and want to experience adventure with family and friends. Then this is the exact place u r looking for. I went there with my family and had the best holidays of my life. I did river rafting for the first time and enjoyed the experience of sitting in the pool and enjoying the beautiful sceneiric view of Rishikesh. Beach side view is awesome. I hope u can also find peace and adventure there like i did. Talking about the resort, there camps were so neat and clean, staff was so cooperative and most important Mr. Pardeep Kapoor who helped me in booking this resort and guided me throughout the tour was really helpful. I hope to come back soon and get lost in the beauty of nature again.

After looking around for a good weekend getaway at Rishikesh by chance settled upon the Bagheera River Retreat. Now having had a bad experience at a reputable Riverside camp in the past I was a bit hesitant to try out the BRR as it had just recently opened for business. I did a bit if of research and realised that the owners of this place who are wildlife enthusiasts also manage the Bagheera jungle retreat in Corbett.Having stayed in that resort previously I thought it was worth giving the BRR a try. As it turned out it was a gamble that I won as lady luck shone on me and the returns were simply superb.It was roughly a 300m mesmerizing trek from the main road to the campsite where one can hear the chirping of bashful birds and rustling of the river as it hurtled across the rocks.Upon reaching the campsite you would see beautifully constructed and arranged wodden cottages.Cottages that provided all the basic amenities to ensure you are not totally cut off from the outside world.I also noticed a private beach with silvery white sand having ample space for a private barbeque and a game of beach volleyball. The staff, hired locally, were trained well and were quite courteous and hospitable.The food was hygenic, wholesome and delicious.What was really surprising was a beautiful swimming pool nestled amongst the cottages and the hillside giving the place a surreal look. But I'm saving the best part for last.I was actually pre-informed by the manager that the real USP of this place was it's very own private WATERFALL! What a surreal experience it turned out to be.A waterfall by the pool by the riverside.I also realised an early morning immersive blast in a waterfall can rejuvenate a weary travellers mind, body and soul. I hope the owners and staff continue to maintain the very high standard required to manage such a unique and exquisite place. I plan to visit again in the summers, next year, for river rafting and a safari to the Rajaji national park. Bagheera River Retreat is quite simply a hidden gem!!!
